Doctors visit Wed. nice numbers. BP124/70, temp. 97.8, pulse 68. I can live a while longer with numbers like that. :-)Also got my flu shot while there, and got a strongly advised whooping cough vacination today (Thur.).The B’day party in the hills was great. Drank more beer than usual last night, then this afternoon when I got home I was feeling pretty “blah” and realized thet while I had had a lot of fluids, very little of ti was water. So I hydrated myself. Felt much better.

Good morning, Vagabonds. Yesterday I finally made my appointment downtown to have my rent frozen; I hope it will be approved, but at least I did it. I don’t mail letters from my own PO (the letters may never reach their destinatation if I do) so I mailed my absentee ballot (for Florida) and a condolence card for my next door neighbor in Florida downtown.

Today I plan to buy another pound of swiss cheese at the deli – is a pound of swiss cheese to much to eat every week?

Morning, Vagabonds!Actually, cheese is high in protein and almost zero carbs. If it doesn’t affect your constitution, you can eat as much of it as you want.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

Had a lovely evening in Billings. The book sale was GREAT! Picked up 16 “new releases” from my favorite authors, and then another 24 older books! That should keep me busy this winter!

It’s supposed to be 70-ish today……but there is a heavy fog all around the hotel. Hope it clears up before we head on home. We take an alternate route, and are anxious to see the fall colors.

@FLORCHI: My PO is a regular PO, not a sub-station. I have complained to the manager that if I mail my phonebill (it’s paid electronically, anyway) in, my phone would be cut off for non-payment. I have heard that several other PO in NY are in the same situation. I must take my mail to Midtown or Lower Manhattan POs to make sure that my letters arrive safely. Several friends of mine have told me that letters they send to me are returned to them even they addressed the letters correctly. Complaining to the 800 number of the USPO has not helped.Sometimes I even get letters addressed to an address 2 buildings from me but the same apartment number.
