We had a Sheperd/Husky/Border Collie cross (looked almost exactly like Koko, actually), and if I didn’t vacuum every single day, the “tumbleweeds” would take over the house.

He’s been gone two years this month, and what I wouldn’t give to find one of those tumbleweeds now.

We used to have a black lab, and I swear, if I knew how to spin, I could have knitted myself a new dog. Every month.

We had an American Eskimo Dog and white hair everywhere! Miss that Cotton Ball.

We have a Boston Terrier/ Lab mix and even though he’s small he still sheds like crazy sometimes. But I wouldn’t trade him for the world.

Most of the Pacific Northwest tribes wore clothes woven from cedar bark fibers and dog hair. Warm and reasonably waterproof.

A teacher of mine had a wonderful dog that was part every large hairy four legged beastie. Friendly. Shedding in spring time was interesting. A breeze would cause a large hairy tumbleweed to take off across the park.
