    On my grandfather’s farm, there were cats they kept as mousers. The dog also worked. But the dog stayed with the family because there was mutual affection. The cats lived in the barn because they didn’t care about anybody else. I don’t have a barn, so I just have a dog. Works well for me.

    @cdward

    Works well for me.

    If i were a cat I would probably prefer a nice tasty mouse over a bowl of kibble. I don’t say this very often, but I get where the cats are coming from.

    We’d prefer it if our cat used barbed wire. He uses, um, natural fluids.

    When cats rub their faces against you they are marking you with scent. ‘Marking turf"
    Tomcats using other ’liquids’ is over kill.
    I like cats or dogs or both just fine but I won’t,
    I flat won’t have any cat that sprays.

    Yeah, I was thinking about the mouse thing too. Unlimited fresh snacks anytime you want. Definitely beats dry kibble.

    @Rista

    If you have the tom neutered when he is young, he most likely will not spray (or even when he is older, he will eventually quit)
