Sorry, Razz – insurance companies were like that long before obamacare.

Seriously? Did you not see this sort of insurance mugging taking place at an increasing rate over the past 25 years or so?
A friend of mine who is no friend of Obamacare (he’s rich and has everything he needs, so it doesn’t help him) DID make one valid point with which I agree. He said it was the privatization of insurance in the 80s that started the skyrocketing of insurance. Where it works best for the people, it’s non-profit.

But now it will be fair and just. No longer will random people of means be given superior care. Now only important government officials and powerful people of means will be given superior care. Yay!

It’s just the gub’ment people that will be given the best care, since they have made themselves not subject to O’care. The “people of means” will be the ones paying for it, as long as they have the means to do it.

I would humbly suggest you could make a more effective point by NOT quoting lyrics of hypocrites.
I’ve got to believe they led lives far more extravagant than the average person.

They probably did leave better lives than the average person, however, their point is a valid one. Maybe they felt overly taxed? I certainly do. Just what makes them hypocrites? Because you disagree with them?

If the line is facetious, re: “tax the rich, till rich no more”, then I stand corrected. If not, my opinion is still valid + you should re-examine the definition of hypocrite.

That’s NOT the point of the cartoon. If there were no caption underneath that might be the meaning, but the caption clearly makes this cartoon about the greed of insurance companies.

Y’know, all you guys are convincing me here is that there are some serious problems in society, and it’s not just limited to politics and insurance companies…

If you like your health insurance plan you can keep it.

At work our insurance went from $120 a month to $520 a month. All the government employees,Congress, the Senate,,labor unions and everyone that applied to their democrat congress puke got an excemption to Obama care.As long as they contributed enough to their campaign funds.
Everyone who makes less then $46,000 a year will get subsidized insurance. That includes all the 90,000,000 folks that the government quit counting as unemployed.
    Thanks dims
