Just as long as the head doesn’t spin around a full 360.

I don’t even want to know what’s happening at the other end.

Instead, schools should have students shadow for a week at a daycare…that will scare them into being careful before they’re ready to have kids.

My day care was the perfect birth control for my daughter. She saw first hand how hard it was. Also, education is the number one thing to prevent child abuse.

great idea! I have a three year-old and at a friends house ended up in a playroom with 3 boys — Sooo glad we only had one child!!!

An only child girl who was 12 and thought my baby girl was “ssooooooo cute!” lived next door. So I hired her to help watch my little one while I was at home after school for a few hours one day a week. I got to make dinner, she got to earn a little bit of $. After about the first month (and I did the diaper changing) she decied that babies are lots of work, not a whole lot of fun when sleeping, and LOUD and messy.
Forget daycare, groups doing a job lack the devlopment of a personal sense or responsiblity. Or attachment.

Well, that may be the larger care centers, but I’m a daycare worker and take a huge amount of responsibility and attachment for each child, not only in my room, but in all the others, too. True, they might not be my real kids, but I work with the parents and we do a lot of rearing along with them.
