    My dog doesn’t bite.
You must have done something to scare him.

the depth perspective of this strip is goofy, the dog looks like he’s walking next to the building – that’s what I saw first

Have encountered dog owners like this. They spoil it for the majority of responsible dog lovers.

there’s a classic toon from the 70’s that went around the water cooler (no computers in those days kiddies), where the dog is humping the guys leg (or face?) and the caption says, “He likes you”. Subtle humor.

My grand-daughter had a similar experience. A dog chewed up her face and the owner said ‘you don’t have to worry about getting rabies’.
