   At my kids’ school they can play in voluntary dodgeball tournaments, but it’s no longer part of gym class. (Too many broken noses and such. Which does happen – because when I was a kid I got a ball to the face which broke my glasses, cut my eye and nearly broke my nose).

   Dodge ball used to be one of my favorite games when i was in school. We didn’t use human shields back then, didn’t need them. Just used brain-power, and adrenelin.

   Our gym teacher wanted to work on student’s accuracy, so he had us play dodge ball with baseballs.
