If anyone is still vague on this strip, the family cats have hijacked a furniture delivery truck and removed all the upholstered furniture to their living room where they can lie all over it, scratch it to sharpen their claws, deposiy scads of loose cat hair all over it, cough up hairballs on it, and probably have accidents on it … because that’s a cat’s natural inclination. They like upholstered furniture.

I’m still not sure I get it, but MAN do I love John McPherson’s drawing! It looks like he drew it with his opposite hand while riding a galloping horse! Look at how much work went into the weird forest in the first half of the panel. Does that even have anything to do with the story? I can’t even tell, but the ambiguity of what’s supposed to be happening here is part of the fun for me.
