Since he has this very effective body double, Mr. Norfman figures he might as well sleep in, from time to time. Soon he will stay away from work for long stretches at a time and still get paid , since his body double is doing his job just like he did (how can he not? he’s his body double)
Things will go on swimmingly for awhile Then , gradually, the body double starts to assimilate old Bri’s life, bit by bit.
In some cases the double is actually better than Bri because he has been made stronger by making it through those ‘difficult moments’ he was hired for in the first place.
Eventually, of course, Brian Norfman is murdered in his sleep and buried in the crawl space by his double and nobody is the wiser

He gets paid way too much if he can afford to do that.

Not necessarily, some people just don’t spend very much, thus they have extra. Depends on if they are greedy or not. I know someone who makes less than 50,000 a year but gives more than half away each year because they only need 20,000 to live on, where they live that is all that is needed for basic necessities.

Plus, we don’t know how much the double costs. Maybe nepotism lowered the price.
