Three quarters of the class walked out when the Prof announced six papers. After they left the Prof smiled at us remaining and said, “We are going to have a good semester.” We did.
Does anyone else find it a bit sexist that there is only one girl in the class and that she’s the only one uninterested in video game designing? Such stereotypes. We could use more female video game producers.
I’ll have to show this to my geek son. He’ll probably point out they use dry erase boards now, and in his computer classes, each student has a computer to work on. (He’s an IT major)

local program for reforming ex-con felons has a kid taking college courses: for computer science engineering. riiiiiiiight…..betcha MS hires him, heh.

That’s only part of it. A good computer science degree can get you a lot of jobs in the industry, video game design is only the beginning.
