As any soccer mom or dad knows, the sport has been steadily growing in popularity in recent years, especially among young people! Kids will love a comic about one of their favorite sports, and parents will relate to the comic’s ever-supportive band of carpooling, game-attending, ref-scoffing parents. Join this group of pals, parents and coaches in their favorite game: soccer!
Cleats also follows the gang’s adventures in other sports. Playing tennis, baseball, golf, gymnastics, skateboarding and more, the kids and their parents laugh their way through games and practices.

The team inflicting the fewest paddle-related head injuries (by their own team members) wins.

Wait! Don’t kids in the Olympics have to be 16? No way are these kids old enough. Maybe they’ll meet the age requirement in 2012.

I prefer individual sports over team sports.

The age question was a puzzle for me. I wanted to use the Cleats characters, but I wasn’t sure at what age. With the deadline pressing, I opted for vague and indecisive. Of course by the time the next Summer Olympics rolls around, there will be a new competition for which country can sneak in the youngest underage athlete.

Wasn’t Nadia Comăneci only 14 when she made her big splash back in ‘76?

Rules change. When Nadia competed in the 1976 Olympics, 14 was old enough.

That actually looks interesting. Many more pin pong balls flying about would look cool.
