About Clear Blue Water
The phrase "clear blue water," explains author Karen Montague-Reyes, comes from the world of politics. It describes the ideological divide between two political parties. In the Torres house, clear blue water is the gulf of personal experience that Eve and Manny cross each day to make their lives work. I’ve gotten the same comments from well-meaning mental deficients, too. My favorite responses were, ‘only the ones that look like me’, and, ‘no…the other three are at home with their dad’. Also, considering the bashing lefties are giving Palin lately, Eve should stand up for her pretty soon.
