Yes, and the republicans have been making things shaky for the past 3 years. So it took over 3 years for the President to invoke executive privilege; it’s something many other presidents have done also. Too bad he keeps falling into the same habits the republicans have, such as taking money to run his campaign and invoking executive privilege on a program started by the republicans. He’s still better than mittens who wants to shut down the middle class.

Hey, it’s Obama. He can say or do anything he wants without any responsibility. He is going to find out different. Obamagate has begun.

Yes, he said it, in context of a larger statement. Gee, remember “NO NEW TAXES!”, or “W” campaigning saying he’d be the “peace president” who wouldn’t take America to foolish wars? That “promise” didn’t last long.

Anyone complaining about Obama’s use of the office REALLY needs to return to the “unitary presidency/executive” intent of Cheney/Bush. Now, House Republicans under Boehner want to micro-manage all agencies through legislation THEY write, or insert, taking away Executive authority. Amazing how conservatives want a 60 lane freeway for their moves, but demand the President, or opposition, push everything through the eye of a needle.

that true. Bush used this as did many other presidents. If a republican was president right now they would be really happy about executive privilege, just like when Bush did it.

Nooooo, if Republicans do it, it’s not wrong. Like deficits.

"Hey, it’s Obama. He can say or do anything he wants without any responsibility. "

That is reserved exclusively for Republicans! Do as Republicans say, NOT as they do!!!

No, I don’t remember because I have decided to enact ‘liberal memory’. It is so convenient. All I have to do is blame Obama for everything.

I have said it many times, this is the #1 reason Obama has to go. HE IS NOT A LEADER! All I hear his WHINE WHINE WHINE about the other side. The R has not had any real power since 2006! Yet Obama wants us to believe they are the reason he can not do anything? I point to the Liar in Chief Clinton! He could not keep his pants on and I blame him for 9/11 but at least he could work with an ALL REPUBLICAN MAJORITY in both House and Senate. Obama can not even work with a small bit of republicans and just look who he has chosen as his “leaders”

So, according to the New York Times on Sunday, June 24, 2012, Darrel Issa is saying that President Obama did not do anything wrong.
