    Aside from the fact that this is a NYCITY issue, even there the sale of the drinks is not banned. Rather, the sale of super-sized drinks. Quite different. And, nobody has banned people from being obese, gross or disgusting. BTW, New Yorkers are among the most physically fit of all Americans (all that walking, you know).

    When both Tucker Carlson AND Jon Stewart agree something is wrong (much to the chagrin of Stewart), you KNOW it has to stink.

    I find that when the Scotch is gone, a tip from the bottle is a refill. About those stores that DO offer “free refills”, exactly what good does cup size really do. Now about those humongous servings of food they call “small” or “medium”???

    When a leftist dirtbag starts agreeing with a right-thinking pundit, you know that something is definitely wrong with a policy. And, let’s face it, regardless of Bloomberg’s party, he’s a progressive who takes a lot of his notions from Obama’s administration. This is exactly the sort of nanny-statist BS that Obama (Michelle in particular) is aiming for.

    The other day i was watching the splashdown of the Dragon spaceship. In the front row of the control-center there was Elon Musk, constantly sipping and sipping from a Styrofoam cup (i guess it was coffee). That got me thinking.

    My theory is that by banning smoking nearly everywhere the people are driven to other things to keep their minds of the real issues of life. It may very well be that an alternative to the harmful inhalation of tobacco might help with the obesity issue. Alas, “Legalize Pot!” will not do the trick because of the inevitable Munchies that follow :-)

    Did it occur to you that the mayor who imposed this is a Republican?

    If you can’t raise your hand and ask for a refill, you are already in a diabetic coma. And if you can’t distinguish this from fascism, you are brain dead.

    “Leftist dirtbag”? You’d be lucky to understand modern politics as well as Stewart does, who in FACT is criticizing modern media for corrupting our political dialogue in this country.
    As for “right-thinking pundit” — HAHAHAHAHA! You didn’t see Stewart take him down on his own show, did you?

    Yoyo can’t recognize quality, and clearly gives a meaningless critique of Mr Stewart. Funny when invertebrates bad mouth higher ordered organisms they can’t even fathom!

    @ScottPM

    From:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Bloomberg “A Democrat before seeking elective office, Bloomberg switched his registration in 2001 and ran for mayor as a Republican, winning the election that year and a second term in 2005. Bloomberg left the Republican Party over policy and philosophical disagreements with national party leadership in 2007 and ran for his third term in 2009 as an independent candidate on the Republican ballot line.”

    You might want to consider that it took me exactly five seconds to prove you wrong before you next post false information.
