I hate to say this, but I kind of like this idea…but, seriously, Brown’s “apology” just shows that he’s an abuser, and is nowhere near fixing himself. Until he accepts that *he* hit Rihanna, and he’d do it again, he’s just gonna keep doing it. Oprah nailed him on this one when she said she hoped he would get the counseling he needs.

brutal abuser is first downcast, then tearfully apologetic, then in denial - textbook. he would probably never hit another man, but has hit women. i hope she realizes her good fortune for finding out before an ill-fated marriage … or worse.

I accidently heard some of it before I found my mute button. It was either that or shoot the TV.

Why to hell should I care about these people more than any other inmates?

LLeRay, you shouldn’t except insofar as it affects how people think about physical abuse. Chris Brown had a “clean-cut” reputation, and is now pitching that somehow it was an accident, he barely remembers it, he wasn’t himself, yada yada yada. He wants people to believe he’s still a good, clean-cut young man and is marketing the heck out of himself on that point, and underplaying what he did. But he’s an abuser who is actively trying to pretend he isn’t an abuser. Until he admits what he really did, for all the other women (and men, for that matter) out there getting beat up, holding his feet to the flames is only right. It’s no wonder he went on Larry “Softball” King.

I didn’t see the interview but heard that he really looked like a total looser in that interview. He wants redemption if being labeled an abuser is loosing him money.

I saw a clip and heard him mention “the incident” over and over again, as if something happened to him, not that he did anything. He’s in denial and not accepting responsibility. It was pathetic but all the people making money off him aren’t going to help him get the “tough love” therapy he needs.

Fighting Levi might become a very violent “incident” indeed. I’d be afraid a hockey game might break out!
