Northern RedmanWhen you have boundaries that look lke some demented fractal, it’s gerrymandered. If a district runs from the Red River to a couple of counties from salt water, but never more than three counties wide, it’s gerrymandered. If it is about as compact as possible and all boundaries follow either natural features (rivers, mountain crests, etc.), limited access highways, or straight lines of over a mile, it probably isn’t gerrymandered. No matter what party drew them.
