Vote vote vote – it really is our bulwark against monarchy, oligarchy plutocracy and a lot of other bad things as well. If we vote then we acknowledge responsibility for government – good bad or indifferent – and can – and WILL – move forward positively as a People and a Country.

    Couldn’t say it better, wmconnelly.
Vote. If you can’t find someone to vote for, find someone to vote against, but vote.
If you can, try to get involved in the selection process, where candidates are being chosen, but at the very very least… vote.
    Respectfully,
    C.

    RE-ELECT NOBODY 2014, 2016, and 2018!
We have a "Con"gress that rates BELOW Darth Vader and Jar-Jar Binks in popularity! Why in the world do we keep sending the same IDIOTS back there time after time…after time?
Too many people seem to have the feelings that “Congress sucks, but MY guy is O.K. It’s EVERYBODY else that’s bad.”
NO, it’s YOUR GUY as well!

Back when I was an election judge, I lived in an apartment directly across the street from the poling place. There 10 apartments in my building, but I had only ever saw one of my neighbors come in to vote.

Yes, keep voting for “your guy”, I think that is how we got our present do nothing Congress. They keep the local’s happy and then go to Washington and accomplish next to nothing while enjoying the good life. A track record of doing nothing and partisan warfare is enough to discourage my vote.

Uh… was Supe ever legally adopted by Ma & Pa Kent? If not, he’s one of them Illegal Aliens and cannot vote.

Vote if you feel that you are making an informed decision about the candidates. Otherwise you merely add noise into the electoral process and weakening its power to hold our representatives accountable to the people.

As long as you vote for the best, we’ll be all right. And when you’re dead, you still can vote for a republican. At least in Connecticut.

Good thing the gubernatorial election was not decided by one vote, eh? (And if it was, the dog would have been found out during the recount. But a dose of paranoia is good for the soul.)

Conservatives are good to vote for. “Conservatives”, not so much.
