    Just a couple of years ago we had the British with surface-to-air missiles on a few buildings in London.

    Oklahoma City. Atlanta Summer Olympics. RWNJs have their moments too, and a single person who’s a nut has a lot of potential to become an effective “terrorist”. Interesting watching Americans scream “WE demand security”, then if the Russians provide it, they’re tyrannical and obsessive. Hmm.

    I see where some of the Olympic venues are only 30% sold.

    Let’s spend thousands of dollars to travel thousands of miles to a tumble-down “Resort” in a repressive regime, to an event that is in the cross-hairs of several Terrorist Organizations to watch sporting events judged by crooked judges that will always favor their home athletes!Yeah, that sounds like a GREAT idea. NOT!!

    It’s only the winter olympics. It’s not as if anyone actually watches it.

    @Tigger

    This is NOT the Summer Olympics and Russia is NOT the US. More than 100,000 security forces will be watching Sochi.

    And they’ve got more to worry about: now Sochi is in the 60s.

    Better odds of being involved, or killed, in a mall shooting, or school, in the U.S., than terrorism in Sochi. Today it’s Maryland.
