I like Boehners plan better than any farther right extremist, I don’t like it, Obama’s doesn’t sound all that good either.
Social Security and medicare have both been paid into during aa person’s whole working lives. That is one cow that should remain sacred.

Not as long as the Tea party owns the House ( with the help of a little Gerrrymandering ) And the Senate Repubs still have the power to Filibuster

The right wing fringe, egged on by their hate-mongering media and financed by corporate greed, created their nihilist Tea Party – and now the Republicans have no idea how to put that djiin back into its bottle.

The only solution for the GOP to save itself would be to expel every member of the TEA-party and let them run on their own (therefor, among other things, eliminating the threat of primary challenges). This way the people could really SEE how big this “movement” is. It’s tiny! They use the GOP as leverage to appear big but they are nothing. This also would eliminate the bleeding of the coffers in terms of advertisements etc. that now go from the GOP to the TEA-party. It’s like financing your own enemy, and the only place the U.S. is allowed to do that is in Afghanistan…
