It’s disgusting that they think they can help our country by hurting the poorest among us.

“Plan B”, is lethal, for the elderly, children, and all living things. It’s merely Boehner’s version of voodoo economic zombie apocalypse.

‘It’s disgusting that they think they can help our country by hurting the poorest among us.’

Republicans believe they are helping the country? Even they don’t believe theri own rhetoric. They are protecting the interests of the Koch Brothers and other wealthy interests.
-
Boehner is protecting ‘all American taxpayers’? Obama’s proposal preserves the Bush cuts for 98% of taxpayeers. Boehner and the Republicans are worried about the 2%. Only.

bayner can’t even lead his own party. his speakership is in jeopardy. wouldn’t be surprised if cantor backstabs him and takes over the speakership.

How amusing. The Social Security payments have been halved by…Obama’s team! For what, two years, now? Add in the raiding of the ‘Trust Fund’ or ‘Lock Box’ for the last five decades, and you have an already bankrupt program.
Reagan tried to stop the Dems from stealing from the SS funds, to no avail. Maybe the new Congress can cut Obama’s credit card. And defund ACA while they’re at it.

funny, but it is the reduction in medicare that is running over my grandmother.

@momsaid
Right. So why should we cut them MORE?
No, the Democrats are not “stealing” from SS funds. Quit lying.
motivemagus said, 5 months ago
@Harleyquinn
So do you blame the GOP that insists on cutting it?

Created by tax cuts that have never produced growth!
Econ 101 economic prosperity is measured by the velocity of the capital as it moves through the system.
Milton Friedmans solution to end welfare was to fly a helicopter over the poor and throw money at them, the initial capital will be “spent” thus product demand grows, thus jobs grow, tax revenues pay the governments obligations, business actually creates a product and as demand grows creates more jobs, more parts, raw materials etc,etc,etc.
This all starts with injecting capital into the economy not pissing about spending cuts that take money out of circulation!

I hope you live in a state where the Governor is Republican, so you can experience THEIR health care plan,or move to experience it!

Mr. Bennett forgot what transpired in late December 2010 as have many Liberals on thsi message board.
This is what happened in late December 2010:
The Democrats Controlled Th House and The Senate.
The Democrat House refused to pass a Budget and opted to allow the Incoming Republican Controlled House pass a budget they should have passed.
These same Democrats also voted ‘Yes’ to extend the Bush Tax Cuts for only the Top 1%, and Obama did not stand up to his own party and Veto this Stupid Bill

@Dycel
Who extended these tax Cuts in Late December 2010?
Answer: The Democrat Controlled House and Senate
Who failed to tell his own party NO! by Vetoing this Stupid Bill?
Answer: President Obama.
This action alone should have been enough to keep you from Voting for Obama as he is exactly like his preeccessor

I think it would be a good time for the aclu to take the cuts to court. If I took out and insurance policy I would expect them to pay what the contract said. Opps sorry the aclu only screws the majority not helps them congress wants to make cut they should cut their pay and benefits also all the staff they have. then maybe we would not have to cut what we have paid for

Hey, I live in Ohio. Thank God we have a Republican Governor. Unemployment is lower than the states that have a Democrat in charge. When our current Governor took over, the state was deep in debt. Now we have a surplus. You people just will not admit the truth.
