   If you accept that the bible is not only a pretty good guide for human behavior, or accept it as the revealed word of god, then you have to understand that it does not speak of homosexual relations as anything that is to be blessed. In fact it is condemned in the the strongest possible terms. God is generally considered to be the perfection of justice.

   Given that, in order to accept homosexuality as normative, you have to believe

   a – that God has changed his mind about homosexuality.

   b – that you have a better understanding of justice than does God.

   c – that societal acceptance of devient sexual behaviors as normative trumps long standing if not eternal truths with regard to sexual morals and acceptable behavior, as determined by God for the good of man.

   As for myself, I believe God has not changed his mind regarding this. I accept that God is in a better position to make judgement on what is good or bad for society and individuals. I do not believe that social acceptance is a basis for making moral judgements. After all, totalitatian governments have made decisions that killing individuals or groups is acceptable to them. That does not make it right.

   There will come a day when you will have to answer for the decisions you make and advocate. It is called the great white throne judgement, and is a lot closer than you might anticipate.

   If you had ACTUALLY read it, you would know that the verses you are going on about are from a letter telling about ancient Rabbinical law, NOT the “Word Of God”!
   Try getting the context right before spouting off your bilious claptrap!

    There’s nothing sacred about “normal” either, since “normal” simply means “the way most people are.” Would you rather to be Honest, or “normally” honest? Intelligent, or “normally” intelligent? Happy, or “normally” happy?

    Actually, there is a lot in the Bible even very religious People dont acept and live after it anymore. Look at Womens Rights in the Bible. There are hundrets of Verses that say, that the woman should be beneath the man, and that she has to be calm in the comunity.

    For Example:
    “1 Corinthians 11:3
    But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. "

    Fact is, that there are many lines, that dont matter to present Christian people, because the Time has changes. There is no reason, to ignore those Lines, that say negative stuff about Gay people.

    By the Way: I am an atheist, gay german person, that thinks, that bible and god are manmade and that people should think with their own brain but beliving blindly in a book and stuff and authority wants them to belive in.
