No matter how much money the Ford Motor Co. threw at selling the Edsel, America still wouldn’t buy it. …and neither will we buy a Twit.

Well, Democrats did this in 2008, he should have gone with Hillary, she would have been our First Female President
She would have closed Gitmo
We would be out of the Middle East
She would have a solid Peace Agreement between Palestine and Israel
She would have the Economy Humming again and unemployment would be below 7%
She would now be working on Health Care reform and a shoe-in for a 2nd term.

Because the republicans in congress would have treated her so much differently? All I could picture was Boehner and the rightwing media constantly harping on every idea she tried to put forward like that as being Bill Clinton running things behind her. I could make the same argument that McCain should have been the candidate in 2000. Then we would have focused on Bin Laden after 9/11 (if he didn’t somehow prevent it) and we never would have entered Iraq, thus preserving our global reputation. Also, had we captured Bin Laden within the first year after the attacks, the Arab spring may have started by the end of 2003, with no Al Qeada or Arab Brotherhood influence.

President Obama has been mediocre. Not terrible, since he was handed an incipient depression and two stupid, horribly mis-managed wars, but not great, since he didn’t manage to effectively address the problems.
In comparison, FDR got things done by knowing how to co-opt the opposition; President Obama has not been as effective. He promised to close Gitmo and reneged, blaming the Republicans. But the President is the Commander in Chief, so he could have closed Gitmo, but was told that if any of the inmates managed to commit an atrocity, he would be blamed, so now he’s hiring some marsupials from Australia to run the trials as a more acceptable alternative.
Hillary did NOT promise to close Gitmo. She did not talk about the economic crisis, but about the 3 am phone call.
Maybe Ms Clinton would have been a great president, but we can’t know that, yet. We may get to find out in ’16.

The 2000 McCain would have been a good president, possibly a great president, but the 2008 McCain was past his sell-by date.

McCain 2000 was the maverick Republican, McCain 2008 sold his soul to the GOP.

When you give money to facebook, it doesn’t execute your foreign policy goals.

FAR more important than “Mitt the twit” is getting the ultra-right wingers out of the House of Representatives and Senate, and yes, a few of the ultra-left as well. If the CONGRESS doesn’t come up with some folks with I.Q.s higher than a cockroach, we’ll remain in terrible trouble.
I don’t like Reid, but looking at the bills he’s rejected coming from the House (TERRIBLE crappola!!) he’s been right, and also right about the 55 filibusters McConnel has used to deny the PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES an equal footing with corporations, most now actually FOREIGN OWNED AND CONTROLLED thanks to changes under, yes, Reagan!

To the man’s question:
The electoral math does not favor Mittens.
