    An HONEST decision!

    Nicely summed up.
It’s really amazing how badly Obama got pummeled by the GOP and FoxNews for giving up TWO Democratic plans in favor of a Republican plan with a few minor reforms, don’t you think?

I’m glad he did something for all Americans and not just the 1% like the republicans.

Actually it’s the GOP that’s beat up, well, not quite, their buddies in the insurance industry STILL get the golden gloves: to play proctologist on all of us!

There have been a lot of fights where the one who looked the worst at the end was still the winner.

this was originally a republican authored bill. I wrote a somewhat long explanation of what the republicans wanted and why they quit wanting it now. So if you want to read it,it is in the Clay Bennet comments.
It amounts to why they were for it,
    when they turned away
    .what the media did.
why the GOP in high places are happy now.

Taxation without representation. Brought to you by the smiling liberals.

Military TRICARE and VA are far less costly to administer, and provide better, and more complete care, than any “private” insurance. Keeping private, but regulated medicine, and SINGLE PAYER insurance, would be far more efficient, and far cheaper, but the “profit margin” would be reduced. So, who would lose?? Can you say SUPERPAC?

    @Ms. Ima

I can understand why no one would want to represent you. “liberals” are not the cause of your problem.

a)Americans are against Obamacare by a 2:1 margin

    b) Democrats took a “shellacking”, as Obama put it, in the 2010 election, largely due to their support for Obamacare. (Of course Liberals refuse to acknowledge even this history.) You’ll be hard pressed to find a Democrat running for re-election using his vote for Obamacare as a plank in his campaign. Instead he will run away from it. (In fact, all Democrats who voted for this law should be required to answer a simple question: “Would you have voted for this law knowing that it would only be sustained by the Supreme Court on the grounds that it is a tax increase?”)

    c) this will invigorate the Republican Party, the Tea Party, and the Romney Campaign, which raised $5.5 million from 55,000 contributions within 24 hours of the SC ruling, thus ensuring Romney’s election.

    d) You don’t raise the winning boxer’s arms between rounds.Obamacare may have won the round, but the fight isn’t over till November.

Surprise to me that someone would even try to come up with such a theory. FBI, CIA, SECRET SERVICE, HOMELAND SECURITY, POLICE and a lot of special ops would be all over this (maybe covertly) and the Roberts (and other officials) families would be under protection. This is such an idiotic attempt to undermine the decision. Those on the extreme truly show their contempt for the American public.

“this will invigorate the Republican Party, the Tea Party, and the Romney Campaign” Oh, I hope so, as they are all as popular as week-old cat food.

“As we type, “On Thursday, June 28, 2012, Holder became the first sitting member of the Cabinet of the United States to be held in criminal contempt of Congress by the House of Representatives for refusing to disclose internal Justice Department documents in response to a subpoena.” Never underestimate GOP dishonesty and posturing.
