NO offense to anyone, BUT, I’m really getting sick of the LGBT argument being the focus brought up every election cycle by “conservatives”, and defended to the death by “liberals”!
It’s NONE of my business, and I don’t CARE who “sleeps” with whom, or weather they just have hairy palms!!
The “hypoChristian” faction is under 23%, LGBT under 10% of our population, military families under 1%.
The !% profiting from the blood of the less than 1% with wars around the world, to defend PROFIT, is a more significant issue.
The cause and effect of our effort at “empire building” is a bigger concern than the statues on a friggin’ wedding cake. GET OVER IT!!! (BOTH sides!!)

God has an overabundance of reason to punish the USA for the choices made….legal abortion, killing God’s most vulnerable new generation…over 53 million since 1973…
the “sexual revolution” that promotes every taboo SIN described in the Bible….the atheist’s success in removing even symbols of God from public places and trying to eliminate public speech and expression of Faith of those loyal to God…
the ungodly lifestyles and “entertainment” indulged in by too many citizens and the addiction crowds to alcohol and drugs for “fun”….
-
9/11/01 was a warning, unheeded by government and by private citizens….we need repentance for dishonoring God and His written Word….we need revival and conversions from Satan to the only Saviour available….Jesus Christ….God’s only Redeemer….there is none other except God the Son.

Nonsense. There is no god. You should mind your own behavior and not dictate what others can do, or not do based upon your belief in an imaginary friend you talk to from time to time.
-—Marraige is a CIVIL contract between two consenting adults, not animals, not inanimate objects or carrots etc.
--It is not okay to yell fire in a crowded space,it is not okay to swing your fist indiscrimately, everyone needs to take responsibility for their own actions. Denying the right to martaige to some of America’s citizens is wrong. It all seems to be based upon your like or dislike and has no real meaning other than to improperly disciminate.
American is about freedom to choose one’s own religion, or no religion. No church should be making decisions about non-members. It is none of their business!

Yes, I agree. We need to repent and follow The Lord. Unfortunately, some think that passing legislation will somehow force people onto the straight-and-narrow. Today, we North Carolinians vote on Amendment One, which is supposed to define marriage as one man and one woman in our state constitution. As if God’s law needs strengthening… No one can be forced to change their hearts, they can only be convinced. Many, sadly, have been convinced to NOT follow Christ because they see so many Christians trying to strong-arm everyone into conforming to their religion. Better to earn the respect of non-Christians by following Jesus’ example: Treat God’s children with love and respect, and leave judgement of their sins to The Father.

As Ghandi pointed out, the best argument against Christianity is Christians.

On the one hand, liberals boast that single mothers don’t need marriage or husbands and kids don’t need fathers, and make Uncle Sam pay the difference. He (that is, we taxpayers) may pay to keep the bastids fed, but they grow into adultlescents with limited, lop-sided moral sense, and the cycle continues.
On the other hand, liberals are scrambling to make gays marry, because somehow when marriage is between two members of the same sex, a strong, legal union is vital, especially to raise children. So which is it, libs? Your untreated schizophrenia is getting expensive: trillion-dollar failure expensive.

Anyone with a gram of sense, or intelligence, can look at what we know about the universe, ask “how did it begin”, and realize the “God of Abraham”; that narrow-minded, vicious, cruel, evil, and inept, MAN-CREATED “entity”, had absolutely NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!
Also, wow, “disgusted” is a real Fred Phelps uninformed zealot!
I can accept that a “force” of unlimited power, generosity, and creativity has “something” to do with the creation of the universeS, but it sure ain’t anything related to the bible. There ain’t going to be no sitting on clouds, maybe even with a joint, and watching the world go by, severely damaged by US and our petty, immature, arguments and unmet desires of being omnipotent “gods” ourselves.

It’s the first time I’ve seen the 9/11 attacks defended as a Godly intervention. Some of you conservative Christians sure have a perverted religion.

Liberals don’t want to make anyone marry, they just want to give people the option. There is nothing in the constitution that forbids it.
And there are times when the mother and child are better off. My nephews father is a level three sex offender. He has been in jail repeatedly for various reasons including possesion, with intent to sell. The man is the biggest scumbag I’ve ever met. Let me ask, is my nephew better off with his real father in his life? (thankfully he isn’t).

I’ll never understand why you have such a seething hatred for anything and anyone that dosn’t fall into your extreamly narrow world view. I have three questions for you. If there is a creator:
*How did the creator come into being?
*Why did he create the universe?
*How do you know yours is the right answer? Maybe the greeks or the scientologists had it right?
Untill then, “love thy neighbor”. And do somthing about all that hate.

You are such a douche! Your god – the god of slavery, misogyny, homophobia, bigotry, and hatred – isn’t worth worship!

Curiously, most unwed mothers are “red” states (highly conservative “Christian” states). The highest divorce rates are there, too. And you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about when you say Liberals think “kids don’t need fathers, and make Uncle Sam pay the difference.” That is, of course, NOT the liberal stand – but perhaps you just didn’t bother to find out what you were talking about.
The reason why anyone would want to legalize a union is because there are privileges one gains, eg., the right to visit one’s spouse in the hospital and make medical choices. There are also tax reasons and any number of other legal considerations. But no one is “scrambling to make gays marry.” Why are you so uninformed? Or do you intentionally lie?
cdward said, about 1 year ago

Are you intentionally trying to drive people away from Christ? Your name-calling, and hateful invective are NOT of Christ.
cdward said, about 1 year ago
As a Christian, I should point out I am painfully aware of “the Church’s” many evils. If I were dependent on just the Church to believe, I’d run screaming – even though I am actually surrounded by devout Christians who are loving AND accepting of all people. There is great tension among believers, and I suspect one big reason is this: Many want to focus on sex even though it was hardly an issue for Jesus at all. They do this because it’s easier to point the finger at someone else and shout “SHAME!” than it is to bother listening to their Lord who did NOT do that. Rather, he spent his time with outcasts, and called his followers to pay attention to and care for the poor, the outcast, the foreigner. Jesus… him, I follow. But Christians are another story.

Obama himself is against Same Sex Marriage, however, he is also against States making laws making it illegal for Same Sex Couples to marry.
NBC News brought up this fact when Biden stated he supports Same Sex Marriage, this put Obama into ‘Damage Control’ Mode
