Well the REAL monster is named “Prez’dent Osama” and right now he is busy stomping America into the ground, in between spitting fire at Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh…
Yeah. Pretty scary stuff, alright.

Scary stuff is “Mr 360 degree mirrors on myself” Limbaugh actually calling Obama a narcissist. Well, actually, it’s anyone listening to that blowhard believing anything he says.
At least Rush occasionally can speak in complete sentences, even if the data is wrong. Beck on the other hand, well, considering I have yet to hear him make ANY statement that makes any sense, at all, can only define he’s an incomplete clone of Rush.

Beck is a former “Zoo in the Morning” DJ who has taken the same kind of attention-getting antics to TV. Since the president of Fox News has said clearly it isn’t news, don’t know why they don’t label it “entertainment” or move it to their other channel.

Let’s be mature for a change and address the issues involved rather than the personalities, says the person who has, as an avatar, an icon of Obama with triple 6 on the forehead.

ANandy- if the above is your idea of mature, I would HATE to see you being childish.
The irrational hatred and fear of Obama would be kind of funny, if it wasn’t so depressing. The ad hominem debate style doesn’t help you make a point. It really only serves to diminish whatever point you’re trying to make.

They will never do better than the original “THE THING” staring James Arness

ANandy, how has Obama attacked the first amendment? A member of his administration expressed displeasure with a TV channel. This is hardly censorship, and if you remember the same thing happened with the previous administration, which once issued a statement protesting MSNBC. There wasn’t that much outburst then, though.
Oh, and for all the widely protested “dithering,” Obama did more on Afghanistan in 10 months than was done for 6 years. Funny how perspectives change when the other guy is in the White House, is it not?
BTW, it is interesting that the 2008 complaints about MSNBC have not been brought up as often to serve as a comparison. Here is a link: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/05/gillespieslettertonbcnews.html .
edit: link does not work. Add “_” between the words before the .html . Here is a part of the text of the email, however:
“Mr. Capus, I’m sure you don’t want people to conclude that there is really no distinction between the “news” as reported on NBC and the “opinion” as reported on MSNBC, despite the increasing blurring of those lines. I welcome your response to this letter, and hope it is one that reassures your broadcast network’s viewers that blatantly partisan talk show hosts like Christopher Matthews and Keith Olbermann at MSNBC don’t hold editorial sway over the NBC network news division.
Sincerely,
Ed Gillespie
Counselor to the President”
