Neat conceit, in the Renaissance meaning of the term. I like it.

The Republicans won’t change until they have to because what they are doing is working. They haven’t had to put forward a plan, idea, proposal, or program, all they have had to do is attack.
We don’t move forward on Health Care, the economy, the wars, and all of the major problems we have, instead we waste time shouting at each other about “Death Panels”, “Tea Bags”, “Socialism”, and “disgrace of Obama winning the Peace Prizes.”
It is time to tell the Republicans to shut up and put their FACTS where their mouth is.
If we don’t they will win in 2012 because nothing will have gotten done, everyone will be tired of all the shouting and arguing and they can run as the Party of “Change.”

You brainwashed lying lefties make me fume.
Anyone can go online, check the Congressional Records, and find literally 100s upon 100s of GOP healthcare bills and amendments both killed in committee or voted down and excluded from bills which made it to the floor.
It is the DEMONCRATS who 100% without exception torpedo every GOP effort to have ANY influence in health care legislation. the Demoncrats do not want to “reform” health care, they want to CONTROL IT, so as to steal 1/6th of america’s economy and redistribute it to both their lobbyists and parasite voters. GOP voters will be shoved aside, forced to pay most of the costs while receiving the least of the benefits. Same as exists right now with both Medicaid and Medicare.

USA is still the best free country in this world. We have the best and open minded artest free to entertain us.
I am proud to be able to enjoy their work.
Thanks to all our artest and comics that work hard to keep us all smiling.

scottfreitas: You seem to use words differently from everyone else in the world. Would you please define the word “brainwashed” for us, please? What does the word mean to you, so we can understand you?

(Clever cartoon execution.)
May the GOP never stop saying NO to socialism.
ezdeb said, about 1 month ago
Actually, I’ll second charlie’s toast. May the GOP continue to do exactly what they are doing!
Signed, a liberal.
Go Sarah Go! Keep talking Ms. Bachmann! Keep screaming, Mr. Beck! I’d like to hear more of Liz Cheney’s debating points on foreign policy! And John McCain needs to be on the sunday morning talk shows more. I want them all on record as much as possible in preparation for 2010 and 2012!
Can’t wait.

Just got some really nasty cartoons from a “right winger” friend and sent her the “negative” cartoon. Hope she got the point. I’m tired of all the false rumors and innuendos going around.
Although, ezdeb is right. Keep Sarah, Beck, Bachmann, Liz, and McCain “onstage”, and here we come 2010 and 2012!
Simon_Jester said, about 1 month ago
Tell me Scotty….did you actually check the congressional records yourself?
Or are you just parroting back what you heard some rightie talk-show host say?
BTW, how many of these GOP healthcare bills of yours made it the floor? I didn’t think ANY had gotten that far yet.

Amen, Charlie555. Actually, ezdeb, most Americans aren’t against “socialism” per se, they just like to know WHAT they’re agreeing to andWHY they are agreeing to it. The Emanuel Gang has failed the test.
DrCanuck said, about 1 month ago
Americans aren’t against socialism? Of course, they are! They just don’t know what they are DISAGREEING with or why.

Gee, someone flagged my very bland comment about this cartoon being good and on target. Hmmm, doth a righty extra uptighty somehow get it deleted?
fennec said, about 1 month ago
ahab, sometimes posts get deleted for no apparent reason whatsoever. It doesn’t always need a flag to happen. Oldlego would say it’s the outsourcing to wherever…and sometimes I really think he’s right.

negatives get developed……….the truth is white on black as above……. DrCanuck you are about as blissful about Americans as Americans are about Canada
DrCanuck said, about 1 month ago
Mag-nutz, that sounds like a challenge. This could be fun; wanna play? Let’s put my knowledge of America up against your knowledge of Canada and see who runs away first.
Issue #1: Without any research, I say the top four people in your government are Obama, Biden, Pelosi, and Reid. Now you give me Canada’s top four.

Not only the No-Party, but society in general seems to cling to negative press and tabloid trash.
1GoComics said, about 1 month ago
Clay … do you really see saying “NO” to reckless spending as being negative ?
What about fiscal responsibility?
The Government Trillion dollar bailouts are not working.
The USA is supposed to be a Republic who uses Capitalism as a means of encouraging Small Businesses and entrepreneurship.
BIG Government is still 1984’s Big Brother:
Individual freedoms being taken away for the facade of security.
“Get the real PICTURE?”

Canada lost its significance to me when when I left..and became less important when my brother died of an MI because he didn’t qualify for an angioplasty and was not offered a bypass…he also wouldn’t have had an angio if he hadn’t been coached…..the public option is a trojan horse and guarantees a Canadian system…and I know everyting about canada that’s important
crunkbot said, about 1 month ago
1GoComics: Reckless spending, irresponsibility and an aggressively expanding government are hallmarks of the previous republican administration. So I agree… good thing we said “no.”
DrCanuck said, about 1 month ago
Yeah, I figured you’d cut ‘n” run, Maggy. It’s your style.

^ & ^^^ What do I know about Canadians? When I worked in a small tourist-trap in Portugal, they were the ones of the North American accented tourists who knew they were in Portugal whereas others would try to pay me in pesetas (which I quite happily accepted. Ahhh, those were the days, 1pta=1$20. ;-) But to be fair so did the Spanish. Italians would leave paying us in escudos but thinking in lira (add a zero to the right!))
Magnaut, you’ve been an MD and now a Canadian but know nothing about being either. I conclude you just like the French sauce.
DrCanuck said, about 1 month ago
Magnaut either IS a sauce or is ON the sauce.
