Kudos to Gates and other military brass for saying NO to the big defense contractors that have grown used to feeding off the public trough with their unreliable, ineffective and sometimes useless weapon systems. And kudos to Pres. Obama for finally allowing them to say NO.

Acme does indeed have a product line quality control very reflective of most of our “cost plus” contractors, they just sell for less.

I be more wary to the “MadMan from Iran” “Beloved Leader from North Korea & Hugo “Bobo Menso” Chavez from Venezuela than Putin Oldie! Those “Three Tyrantical Stooges” Are FAR more Dangerous to the world today!!

Oldie 0 BCS 1 Goldie you are asleep on this one. Clearly we should not waste money on a antiquated system already abandoned by our military experts. Are you expecting some money from the contractors of the system perhaps? Maybe putting our hard earned cash in a real deterrent is wise.

Wasn’t it Lockeed Martin that was in charge of a work-for-food program at one point?

Excellent cartoon comrade. Commissar Obama will allow this to be published in the state-run media. You are now eligible for a People’s Endowment for the State-Run Arts.

I have to go with Ike and BCS on this one. While I put no trust in Putin; at this time the money is better spent elsewhere.
