George Souros/Chicago cronies pulled HealthCare Reform out of Obama’s bleeep. Shake up the hegemonies. Payoff the ACLU and the Lawyers, make bureaucrats; and make Democrats rich. Control the populace; favors for votes. Republicans have been called out and have had to come up with alternatives. Who’s using their pencil?

The health care plan calls for illegals not to benefit, but it’s unenforceable, and a drivers license will skirt the system.

Many states give illegals drivers licenses, which will be sufficient to get free healthcare under the plan.

Obama failed to mention this important little fact.

    cdward said, 2 months ago

kreole, there is currently no iron-clad way to stop illegals from getting health care. They can buy private insurance right now. The president’s plan doesn’t provide any better enforcement, true, but nobody can. The whole illegal alien argument has no substance.

If you want to get rid of illegals, simply imprison everyone who hires them, and that would include the heads of corporations. That’ll stop it pretty quick. But since illegals are destroying our nation so badly, you better put them in for LONG stretches – 5-10 years, say.

What? Are you actually saying that Republicans have written a bill and the Democrats erased it?

Well, I guess with many conservatives maintaining that there are death panels, illegal immigrant care and abortion coverage in the House Bill, your questionable grip on reality shouldn’t surprise me.

Let’s talk about this word, “reform”. Does anyone really know exactly what it means, anymore? Hasn’t it just become another meaningless buzz-word that Obama throws around to obscure his actual desire to screw us all with a single-payer system like Canada has? And…DrC… focus on this word: ILLEGAL….. it means you have criminals cleaning your toilets who don’t respect our laws, who take advantage of us in every possible way, drive without licenses (often drunk) , commit a disproportionate amount of crime and bankrupt hospitals by demanding free emergency care! WHAT PART OF IDIOCY DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND?

To base ur whole oppostion to health care on the problem of illegal immigration (and yes i do think its a problem) is just foolish.

I mean for real, did you guys even listen to the mans speech? But I guess the right is going to believe what it wants to believe… Terrorist, Socialist, Anti-American Millitant, Baby Killer… Yall should be careful, your ignorance is really starting to shine through.

Righties, just move to South Carolina or Texas, apply your fearsome activist talents to work so you can secede from the U.S., remove all people who you don’t like, and start your own bleeep country!

Here in the U.S., we are built on diversity. Not hate. If you want to be full of hate, go work for Hugo Chavez or something. HowGoZit, really nice retort to Dr. C. Wow.

Kevin Drum at MotherJones has a good blog. He’s more an economics wonk, but the comments are actually useful and the righties sort of have something to contribute, unlike ANandy, NoFear and Howzie. I also like Steve Benen at the Washington Monthly. And Politico, altho Politico leans right and they make it bleeep hard to comment or even to find the comments thread about a certain issue.

Anyway, the awful stupidity shown by those I mentioned here just makes attempts to ask questions and talk to those with a different idiology too painful.

If they would dress the cats up in clothing and send me pics, don’t think I won’t proudly display them! I’m pathetic.

But I AM wondering how your sweet grandkid is doing, drC. Oh, and excllent post about immigrant treatment in Canada. It’s hard to hold my head up in America sometimes, when I see how we treat each other here in Profitland

    Obama’s lies continue

Obama talked about how he would not add a single dime to the deficit, when the studies are showing it would add about a trillion dollars to the deficit over the second year of the plan. He talked about not permitting any illegal immigrant to be covered, when in fact it was Democrats who voted down any attempt to verify immigration status.”

    DavidGenius_badge said, 2 months ago

So is it really that the Republicans don’ t have anything…or that it doesn’t matter anyway…they will not be heard. I personally think it is the latter. Democrats and Republicans are playing the game and will gladly shut each other out to win despite the cost to We The People. They are about winning against each other. While they fight they continue to steal power from the people and engorge themselves with it.

Even if the Republicans come up with something they will craft it such as their elites that are actually running the party will be paid as they have demanded…no different than the Democrats are doing now. The two parties are dancing different dances to the same music.

The Guillotine was invented about the same time the French got fed up with this a few hundred years ago. Then the French used it to rid themselves of the putrid burgeoise that was pillaging their country and impoverishing their masses.

Let’s pray it doesn’t go that far before Americans see what these thieves are doing to them.

  31. ezdeb

    ezdeb said, 2 months ago

David, that’s IF the republicans come up with something. They don’t seem too keen on actually producing anything, for all their talk of their excellent ideas. That is the first step. Anything you prophesy that will happen after that is conjecture.

Somehow I think you’re actually praying FOR the guillotine.

”should only be enforced sometimes for some people, but ignored and not enforced if we feel real sorry for others who’ve broken them?”

bike, here’s the problem – or at least part of it. People on both side of the political spectrum ignore laws when it is convenient. The problem of illegal aliens is particularly difficult because it is in the interest of many business owners to keep using them. You cannot attach the illegal alien question to health care reform because it will not help. First, illegals will simply not get health care, and then you’ll have a bunch of sick people running around infecting others, thereby creating a sicker populace and costing us more in many ways. Second, as long as people from poorer countries are enticed to come here by business owners – rich people who are also breaking the laws, and who in a way are more culpable. After all, a lot of the illegals they are bringing in are children and/or completely desperate people who will do whatever it takes to survive.

Third, there’s the issue of people who were brought here illegally as infants or very young children and only know the US. Somehow, they need some sort of exception because they did not willingly break the law, some of them don’t even know they’re illegal, and yet they are being punished for others’ crimes (this just happened to a friend who has lived here all his life except a few months and now has been deported).

I believe you’re targeting the wrong crowd. Go after the people who hire illegals. Give them serious prison time (5 years ought to do it). That’s fewer people you have to catch, easier to find, and it’ll dry up the stream of illegals much faster than chasing them in the desert or building a wall. But right now, employers get a slap on the wrist at most.

  38. striper77

The real problem is most of the illegal aliens are coming from Mexico. They are coming over by the truck load. A large percentage of them have been deported numerous times. A lot of them get fake ID’s when they get over here.
For instance a company was building a new apt complex. Everyone their had to bring a Social Security card and picture ID to get hired. Most were Latino.
One day the local highway patrol officers had some training their. Half of the workers did not show up.

Another major problem a large percentage of them that come over are already Aids infected and belong to the drug cartel, (gang members). These are the most ruthless of all gang members. Look at the gang population in California. If they need to kill someone. They kill everyone with that person. Men, women and children.

Then there is people such as yourself that feels sorry for them. I remember seeing the ads of how most of the Latino’s are just here to work.

Now remover your rose colored glasses. About half of them are here to work.
Then look at the other half gang members, drunks, murderers, thefts, STD infected, etc.

Then the health issue, the Obamacare will be free to them. Americans with jobs will have to pay for it.

bikey: You forgot mouth-breathing and knuckle-dragging, to round out my picture of you.

I have no trouble whatsoever with a country making and enforcing laws. It’s what countries do. But don’t do so selectively. Go ahead and seal the borders, if you wish. But stop offering jobs to Mexicans, allowing them to cross the border, hiring them, giving tax breaks to companies who hire them. exploiting them for your economic benefit, and then blaming and discriminating against THEM for being exploited.

Striper, did your eyes even look at cdward’s points? These points specifically address your complaints, and yet you post as if nothing had been said in regards to this issue.

Oh, by the way. I was praying last night, and Jesus asked me to remind you about I Corinthians 13:13. He said he keeps trying to open your heart with his loving whisper to you, but for some reason your hate has blinded you. He asked me to point out that this is the BASIS of his new covenant with man. Love.

  41. bikemaster

    bikemaster said, 2 months ago

Thank you, CDWARD, for your excellent post. You have correctly pointed out the issue and I agree very much with your points. The unfortunate problem concerning the innocent children born here should be remedied by ending our stupid policy of automatic citizenship granted to any baby born here, regardless of parental citizenship. This is SO OBVIOUS even someone like DrC might agree. And…speaking of the devil, by golly, DrC, my knuckles ARE bloody!!!

  42. believecommonsense

cdward, good post. The political will to prosecute/fine employers of illegal immigrants is weak due to influence of business, US Chamber of Commerce, etc.. On another post recently, I posted about a report on Fox that was critical of the Obama administration for enforcing current law on employers hiring illegals, cause those poor employers just can’t find anybody to work. No one on the right commented on the hypocrisy of maintaining a pro-business right to hire illegals, but anti-illegals being here and needing services.

I dont understand why they don’t make the company/employeer responsible for an illegal alien they employee. I am responsible for what my kids do. If they get hurt i pay for it. If they hurt others or damage their stuff i pay for it. If someone is here illegally because of a job then the person who hired/brought them here should be responsible for their actions and debt.

Its not that hard to solve. I guarantee you that the companies hiring illegals wouldnt be hiring illegals if that was the law
