Didn’t we used to have some laws against cruel and unusual punishment?
We can go back to being better than the terrorist.

This just in….American citizens everywhere are accusing the Obama Regime of enacting a reign of terror and abuse against the american public. They believe the Obama Administration is attempting to beat them into submission with fear of crises and a relentless mainstream media propaganda campaign…

Beck is a performance artist who for some odd reason has been given television air time for his antics.
comparing Beck to Stewart is impossible, they don’t exist in the same stratosphere

Where is Blitzer, Olberman, Matthews, CNN and the strategist Carville?

Edgar - no, he doesn’t do the same thing Stewart does. Stewart has always said he is a comedian providing “fake news.” But in the process he does his homework (he actually reads books!) and challenges politicians on both sides of the aisle on errors of fact and outright lies, and uses satire to poke a hole in the overinflated politician and pundit.
Glenn Beck, despite launching a comedy tour, claims to be the modern Tom Paine (an insult to the man, who would have kicked his @ss from here to Paris) defending the American people, in the process using massive distortions and lies to make points that are simply bizarre. And of course crying on command. Somehow the Tammy Bakker approach to political news isn’t convincing to me…

Glenn Beck is totally serious when he puts gloves on, guts a dead salmon messily, on his show, holds the fish spine up to the camera and tells us that’s what Dems need; a spine. Glenn Beck is totally serious when he pretends to pour gasoline onto a co-worker “tied” into a chair, and then stands screaming over him with a lighter, pretending to be president Obama…..Yeah. Just like Jon Stewart, who uses logic and history and the words of his interview subjects.
Yep.

Stewart doesn’t take himself as seriously.

Watching the antics of Glen Beck is torture to me and I have access to my tv remote—I pity the Gitmo dude.

Edgar Bumpers states “He does exactly the same thing Jon Stewart does except for a different audience.”
I’ve never, ever seen Stewart crying crocodile tears as Beck has!
When he was a guest on “The View” Whoopi Goldberg ran a tape that show Beck in a HUGE like involving her and Barbara Walters. Beck lies a lot, but somehow lying about women is so low!
