   Oldie, you’re half right. We’re at a point in the US where we should be looking for ways to pull togrther but the extreams, both left and right, are more concerned with petty squabbles. Granted there are some less than desirable characters to be dealt with, but in more stable times. Free “thought”, he can have it but don’t get upset when someone else has an opposite “thought”.

   The radical left? We have no radical left in the US – certainly not in elected positions. We have left-leaning moderates at best, meaning someone who complains briefly before kowtowing to the Republicans. Compare to Europe, where the Green Party and the Communists still have significant percentages!

    believecommonsense - good point. But Rush and his ilk always claim “truth” rather than “opinion.” Never trust a man who is certain he has the only truth. Especially about other people’s motivations.
