    marktrail says:
Thanks President Bush for the seven plus years of protection from the terrorists.
Let’s hope Barack Hussein can match that.

To be a liberal you must
    1.) Reject your nation.
2.) Not like the American military.
    3.) Reject religion.
    4.) Embrace homosexuality
5.) Embrace killing children in the womb
    6.) Embrace socialism.
    7.) Embrace failed government schools.
8.) Embrace terrorist regimes, i.e. Hamas, over Israel
9.) Embrace fools.. Keith Olbernut, Al Frankenstein
10.) Lie about anybody who is a traditional American.

NFP, I care because I’m a part of the world and also because I know american history and I know America is worth way better than what it was for the last eight years. Do you have a friend having an addiction or something like that? You don’t pay the booze or drugs they take. The money they loose on gambling is not yours but don’t tell me it doesn’t hurt inside. Even if it was true, it would make you heartless.

My folks were alcoolic and had gambling problems when I was a kid. Sometimes I really thought I hated them. Why did I had to come up with a brand new lie every time to tell my teachers why I didn’t went to school the previous day while the real story was that my folks had drank all weekend long and were too hung over to drive me to school on monday morning? Why did they lost the house I should have inherited to gambling and why did it had to be towed away? My mom and dad are worth more than that!

For a while, I really thought I hated them for all that. Every time someone (like my brothers and sisters) told them to stop drinking they’d say something like “Why don’t you mind your own bleeep business!” or “Get off my back!” but what they said was for their own good.

Sometimes what we need to hear is not what we want to hear.

For the past eight years, I have seen the birthplace of modern democracy, a place went so far as to go into a war to outlaw slavery, the place that had the guts to send Hitler packing when everyone thought it was over and create the UN and the Declaration of Human Rights I’ve seen all that place ruled by fear by a bunch of selfish pigs for the past eight years, go from world leader to world laughing stock and buy the idea that to protect the Bill of Rights, you gotta start by ignoring it and that protecting freedom needs a western hemisphere 21st century gulag.

Keep the promise you made to yourself in 1776, like my parents did when they stopped drinking!

And dammit, the last few days make me wish I was an american.

CF, your post does you proud. And there is no doubt that you are one of us in spirit…no need for that little piece of paper to say otherwise.

Boy oh boy, Thank you Ms. Frog….I did stir things up with someone elses post on the comic side… and we thought we were controversial on this side?

    Bah, marktail…what an amateur!

Step aside, son…and lemme show yew how a perfesh’nul does it

From Joseph Farah on Worldnet daily

“When the rule of men conflicts with the commands of God, the Bible leaves no doubt about where we should stand. That’s why I do not hesitate today in calling on godly Americans to pray that Barack Hussein Obama fail in his efforts to change our country from one anchored on self-governance and constitutional republicanism to one based on the raw and unlimited power of the central state. It would be folly to pray for his success in such an evil campaign. I want Obama to fail because his agenda is 100 percent at odds with God’s.”

There, now that’s some real red-blooded, ‘Murcan hate.

    Want some real hard truth?

The neo-con Bush lovers make up only a small minority now. they’re the Seventh Cavalry and we’re the Sioux.

And that’s why no one’s listening to their whiny, childish, liberal bashing any more…except their fellow neo-con Bush lovers.

Have fun out there in the wilderness guys…write if you get work.

I note lego was simply quoting someone else there (pretty hateful post).

CF, excellent comment. Yes, it’s been an 8-year nightmare, but is hours from ending. We’re going to find ourselves again.

This comic just shows the first step–discarding the mistake.

I once visited Dachau concentration camp. The things the guards imposed on the inmates because of what they considered genetic superiority would cause your soul to weep. The mental Mark Twain displays was there.

Just heard Pres. Obama’s speech. He wants you with us, CF…it is sad that some don’t recognize the power of tolerance and responsibility world-wide.
PS. Oldlego was doing one of his rattle-the-chain numbers, y’know.

New guy on the block…just wanted to “big-up” CF for her candid comment (both here and on previous). I’ve been watching and smiling at most comments…some are down right negative about OUR new President. I often wonder why the word “liberal” is used so liberally :) as a curse word..as if “Conservatives” are the only ones who believe in honesty, truth and justice…??? Yes, I’m a Dem–call me a Liberal if you like, but I (WE Liberals) share the same values; but may not be as hard a@@ed as some conservatives–we will listen…ok, now that I’ve p’d off the neo-cons, let’s hear it…:)
