Hi everyone, I’m finally home after visiting really old people ie. my dad and husbands mom in the Midwest. Almost had to kiss the ground when we landed.

I’ve have two weeks of catching up to do with my toons.

Typical dogs laughing at the poor kitty.

    Good morning, CDers!!

(I love bright colors in the toons, and I understand anything goes…ie: cartoon physics, implausible stories and all that….but, what’s up with the lime green dog??? )

    ( I like his purple sweater, though… )

I didn’t get here early enough yesterday to mention your re-do with Cuddles Clones ready to be “bowled over”! Great idea and great job!! Very funny!

    @Happy

I was surprised to discover that Judy Collins is 74 years old!!

Why is that I tend to think I am the only one that’s gettin’ old?? LOL

    good music last night!

    nein nein nein nein!
    (name that movie!)
just to clear up something…..I did not create the picture of the doggies with their bowling balls yesdtiddy. the implication was that I did…….
all I did was google ‘dogs bowling’ and there it was.
I simply defer to Stel ol’ bel and Chalkie, who have taken it to another level.
incidentally, that ‘Edmund Fitzgerald’ video was a treasure.
Hauntingly beautiful song by Gordon Lightfoot at his best in the mid seventies…..
come to think of it I was at my best in the mid seventies…
    so was Judy Collins.
    so was Stel ol’ Bel….
check that…..Stel is STILL at her best!

Perhaps the lime green dog is from Mars.

Looks like the kitty hasn’t quite got the hang of skiing. Then again, neither have I. And there’s no chance of getting me anywhere near snow now, no way, no how.

Good morning, cleo, sugar, Fellow Baby & the rest of the CD gang!

I’m thinking the tumbling kitty should have sound effects, like:
    goofy’s holler

    “nein, nein, nein, nein”

just to clear up something…..I did not create the picture of the BASSET with HIS bowling ball yesdtiddy. the implication was that I did…….
all I did was BING ’Bassets bowling’ and there it was.

“come to think of it I was at my best in the mid seventies…

    so was Stel ol’ Bel….
check that…..Stel is STILL at her best!”

Well, I don’t know about Limey the dog, but I know if I were up in that thing I"D be lime green (agoraphobia), and I would not be grinning!

Re: Gordon Lightfoot and “Wreck…” It is a beautiful and haunting song. Unfortunately, I was pregnant with VERY bad morning sickness when it was popular. Every morning that blasted radio station played it at the same time, every morning my husband sat on the other side of the bed putting his socks on, bouncing the bed like a wayward boat. To this day I feel slightly nauseated when I hear Gordon’s beautiful song. Timing, as they say, is everything.
