Mel is such a sentimentalist.

We have had only one chewer, our first, Bleu. We were so young at the time and had nothing of real value, so no big deal. He was a sweetheart.

Where is Mel? I sense another first coming on.

The new format is terrible! That’s why I left directions/formula on how to get the image code and insert image here…because they’re not providing the “shortcut” anymore that made them easy to use.

This is definitely NOT an improvement! You really have to want a certain image from Photobucket to do a trial and error fussing around to get it here!

I posted this on Ballard St way back in July, and cannot remember if I posted it here or not, but it is so-o-o-o-o good, why not look at it again??? I’ve watched it 8 or 9 times since I re-discovered it yesterday (at the request of Number Six). So, hope you all enjoy it!!

Of course, that was supposed to be my celebration smiley because I got it right the first time! I stepped out to buy a case of water, you know, just in case! LOL!

I just made seven jars of jalapeño jelly. I love having it in many different ways, but I really like it on a fried egg and ham sandwich. I whip two eggs, add ham, pour it into a scalding hot cast iron skillet. It puffs up like a mini soufflé and I serve it on this killer locally made wheat loaf. mmmm,!

(Just keep in mind the only space in between the img and the src. I have to put in more spaces or it won’t show up here…ahhh, the mysteries!)

2. Now paste in the URL image code.

The image code that you want to use is this:

DO NOT TYPE IN “IMG URL” !!! That’s what the CODE is called!!!!!

now, make sure there are NO spaces EXCEPT between img and src

after it says .jpg, ADD (with NO space) another apostrophe (’)

then, type: width = ’ 250 ’ > (but with NO spaces!)

So the whole sequence looks like this, BUT with only ONE space between IMG and SRC:

Ohhhhhh…..no wonder I didn’t know what you were talking about! The photo after the face being squeezed is still showing on my screen. I wonder why your not getting it????

Do you see an old, pouty pumpkin face that is right above our comments now. That’s the one that you couldn’t see from this morning.

I guess you CAN teach an “old dog” new tricks, but it sure is more complicated than the old way! This is a pain in the butt and takes too long!

Shika, the image that was deleted I removed because when it posted in my commnet box it said the owner had taken it down. In other words, I guess that was a private album and she didn’t want the picture shared other than beyond Photobucket. At least that’s how I interpret their rules. The picture was another kitten sleeping.

Hi happy, sugie and anyone I missed.

My reply button functions only about 25% of the time. Sorry…don’t feel sorry for those of you that are used to it working all the time. It rarely works for me.

That should be “COMMENT” up above. I sure hope they bring back the edit button.

The winds are supposed to get up to 80 mph. I am starting to worry about a maple tree we have close to the house if the wind gets up that high. We had been meaning to get it trimmed but haven’t yet.

When I first learned to do the pictures, I kept a scrap paper taped to my desk with the beginning and ending of the “formula” that you have to add to the URL. The more you do it, the easier it gets. I threw out that scrap paper ages ago, and just type from memory.

Do you do links? That’s all a similar process…..EASY!Say the word when you want instructions. Also, x-Tech’s Formatting Guide is here, if you ever get stuck:

Okay, the quickest way to insert an image found at Photobucket is the hover on the gear icon and select Get media links. From the Share the Photo popup click Direct Link copied should appear.Paste the link into the comment box and enclose it in ! points (StelBel’s secret shortcut) like this.
