My parents got married because they could dance together like Fred and Ginger! (That’s what Dad said, anyway.)

Role reversal? That was a very elegant dip, I believe they should be on Dancing With The Stars, they would blow Kirstie Alley sp? out of the water.

    @StelBel.

Seems to me your clip featuring Fred on the ceiling would be most appropriate here!

I’ll try your tip about accessing CD the day before – if my Packard Bell lets me do it…

Talking about dips, the temperature inside my house dropped 4 degrees in less than 5 hours. I think that cold front made it here.

Good Morning, cleo, sugar, Fellow Baby & the rest of CD dancing fools.

Fellow Baby, I’ve had glass all over the place and one time I had Pepsi all over the place. What a mess that was. I made the mess before going to work once in Dallas. I cleaned some of it up, but was going to be late for work, so I left it for when I got back. Big mistake. The ants were crawling all over the spills that I didn’t get to.

It’s always a delight to see Fred & Ginger…they were pure talent!

    Special Request from Number Six:

Fred Astaire Dancing On The Ceiling

(The actual dance doesnt’ begin until around 2 minutes in, but this longer video is the best quality one, so skip ahead.)

    How the Dance was done:

    Astaire Unwound – Rotating Room

(This is fascinating to watch. I think Fergus has a lot of practicing to do!)

BTW, x_Tech, I showed your cat “the way to go home” last night…he was awfully tired but, really cute! Thanks!

    Good morning, CDers!

I saw the commercial for a the Volkswagon Passat where the driver is stopped at an intersection and gets into playing the air drums to Rush’s Fly By Night , so I had to hear the whole song. Any RUSH fans out there……..?

I was going to try to post something funny re: your broken bottle of olive oil incident last night, but the more I thought about it… there’s nothing funny about it! It’s tragic! I love Extra Virgin Olive Oil so much, I would be heartbroken!

Oh, by the way, here’s the original Extra Virgin Olive Oyl…

My 2 favorite Rush songs were The Trees and The Spirit Of Radio. Then of course there was Take Off! which Geddy Lee did for 5 bucks on the McKenzie Brothers’ Great White North album.
