@ puppybreath
“Well, you are special you know.” — puppybreath : these kinds of comments to me go right to my head! There’ll be no living with me, now!!!! lol
And, I don’t “put up with” your adventures. I am genuinely interested! You know, you should write a book! Really.
BTW, my laptop is set up on my desk in the kitchen, and there’s a big TV in here that I watch while sitting in the wing chair at the desk. Yesterday, I mentioned that I was sick of missing out on the “party” here, ‘cuz I went to bed too early. So, last night, I decided to stay up and join the party. At 9pm, my husband came into the kitchen and found me sound asleep in my chair at the desk — TV on and Citizen Dog comments still on the laptop screen. How pathetic is that? Well, I tried…. (In my defense, we do get up early: between 4:30 am and 5, so it is a long day. Still, in my younger, single days, I remember not even leaving the house to go out “on the town” til 10 or 10:30 pm. Of course, that was back in the ’70’s and ’80’s….)

@ JKissmya and @ Shikamoo
I agree the boxer/swim trunks on the scuba-geared dog were too funny! I think I’ll get Max some swim trunks for this year’s photo shoot! And, maybe some scuba gear or, perhaps a crown? “King of the backyard pool” lol

BTW, I don’t comment on all the comics, but I do like to read all the comments. If something occurs to me, I’ll post it, otherwise, I’ll move on.
So sorry to hear that yesterday didn’t go well. It’s over and a new day is here. I’m sending you all the positive vibes I can muster up so today will be a great, sunshine-y day for you!

YIKES!! How DO you do it???? _

@ cleokaya It makes sense to streamline the line-up periodically. I try to do that, too. Get rid of the “dead wood” so to speak. It has to be enjoyable, or what’s the point…..?

My story is similar to yours: After quitting my job on a psychiatric crisis team in ‘87, I moved to Spain, and lived on the Costa del Sol for a year. While there, I started a small T-shirt design business, which started to grow ( a lot of tourism there). My folks decided to sell the big, old house if I was going to stay in Spain (I had been living in the attached apt. of their house, and all my “stuff” was still there), so I came home — temporarily — to tend to my things. A week later, I met Ernie on a blind date (he was a friends’s boyfriend’s roommate), and…….. well, I never returned to Spain.

@StelBel
(…and that’s the same house that Ernie and I own and live in now. My niece and her husband live in the apt. now (4th generation of our family living here). They just got married last week, and are now expecting the 5th generation.)
