Not much of a mustache……‘course, a guy with a real mustache wouldn’t even be allowed to drive a Pinto.

I saw a movie, a chase scene had a car go off the road. It headed towards a Pinto parked by a tree. The car barely hit it, you could hear the little ‘TING’ sound. Then it blew up.

The movie is called Top Secret, from the mid-80s. Val Kilmer is in it.

I remember back in the 70’s I was parked in the Fan of Richmond. I came to get my car and a fireman wouldn’t let me on the block. a Pinto had been hit from behind and gas was flowing down the street along the curb. It’s then you realize; maybe there is something to those reports.

They used to advertise the Gremlin as being half a car. Not as ugly as the Pacer.

This must be the extremely rare 1967 Pinto (rare like a unicorn) since it has no side marker lights (or even back-up lights) at all. :)
