This should be enough to get your attention, but I doubt it will.

The National Treasury Employees Union, NTEU, which represents the IRS employees who harassed and delayed tea party and conservative groups, has come out against the proposal to put federal workers into exchange-based health insurance.

Fancy that: the people in charge of deciding whether you go into an exchange, and who decided it doesn’t matter whether your state doesn’t want one, don’t want to be in one themselves.

So having full access to the program, being trained to enforce the program the IRS employees recognize that the program is not a good thing to be in. For them.

Now, please, swallow the hate, bite back the knee jerk reactions and read this article. Is it accurate? Well that is for you to decide but how will you know if you don’t at least look at it? Practice some of that tolerance you are so proud of.

    Where’s that “outrage” mr. Prez?

Try telling the IRS that you have “no comment”.

““You” can’t try this with the IRS and neither can the Tea Party.”

And the Tea Parties and other groups didn’t do anything similar libs groups didn’t, as you know.

The libs got a pass, but those with scary words like Patriot in their names got delayed. After all, if they hadn’t had to tell the IRS about the content of their prayers, they would have had more time to raise money to oppose Obama’s reelection. That opposition had to be slowed down.

BTW, quotation marks don’t show emphasis. ConserveGov used them properly.

And neither do any Business owners. You’re starting to understand America; only the lower working classes pay taxes.

What is so great about single payer? The
years long wait times for some orthopedic surgeries?Or any surgery that isn’t life threatening. The lack of doctors because they can’t repay their tuition loans working in places that have that system. Not enough nurses or any one else in the medical profession?Lack of equipment? There are more MRI machines in city of Houston then in the entire country of Canada. The only good thing is the lib perception that it is free health care because most of them don’t pay their way with taxes anyway, only people with actual jobs and small business owners.

If you would even take the time at all to go out and Google “What are the average life spans of human beings in various countries of the world?” you would find that of all the industrialized countries of the world, the USA is number 37 with an average life span of 78.57! The first such country is Japan with an average life span of 82.7, and number 2, Switzerland with 82.59. Both of these countries (and in fact all of the other industrialized countries in the world have an average life span at least four years longer than we in the USA do. And health care in the USA is by far the most expensive for its citizens of all health care in the industrialized countries. While I am as patriotic as anyone else her, I am at least willing to admit facts.

Now, it is indeed true that at least some of this better life span is probably due to a healthier life style in those 36 industrialized countries with greater life spans than the USA. After all, just look at our incredibly increasing obesity rate! But that is certain not the only reason for the disparity. So, if it is true (as you seem to be implying) that single payer governmental sponsored health care is so much worse than our own, then why are we Americans not the longest living human beings on this planet?

Thank you for an intelligent and well stated post. I have seen one payer systems at work and they work quite well and as you stated, they are cheaper. Some say that the doctors are not well paid, however in England and Germany the pay to the medical field is as good or better than the US.
