“This is called slave labor,” said Pope Francis.
    -
The Holy Father was referring to the $40 a month paid to apparel workers at that eight-story garment factory in Bangladesh that collapsed on top of them, killing more than 400.
    -
“Not paying a just wage … focusing exclusively on the balance books, on financial statements, only looking at personal profit. That goes against God!”
    -
I know, I know, off the subject of what a dum-dum the President is. Pertinent though for God fearing Mr. NRAsay…

So you’re saying that if the workers had been paid $35 per hour the building wouldn’t have collapsed? You need to go back and watch some more Chris Matthews and Rachel Madcow.

Why is Russia in this group ?
These are animals, not man…Man, in his extremism can be “evil” .
And, one should compare the sane response(s) with those of the extremists.

To be happy, would they just drop a nuclear bomb on the entire assembly of depicted “hatred” ??

    Note the change…
Ignore mine, wait for the RT.

A rare time I agree with an Asay cartoon. Obama should’ve kept his trap shut about red lines.

No matter though. His opposition is 100% predictable in its intransigence. In fact, sometimes I wonder if his governing style has evolved to provoking the GOP to simply do the knee-jerk opposite of what he wants.

@Tigger his promise to go to War with a Collation backed Force. That’s what he said..

And that will be his out, He can not lead anything, let alone the UN in anything that is a Collation. So he will have to back down. His handlers will grab ahold of that Peace Prize leash and yank real hard.

It was a truly stupid idea to announce his red line. This leaves room for only two things: another unwinnable war where a thug despot gets replaced with a different thug despot, or looking helpless and ineffective.

But not unprecedented. I remember the last guy in the White House when he said, “Bring ’em on.” Look how well that turned out.

Foolish that he would not learn the danger of bluster from the many examples of the past.

" I wonder if [Obama’s] governing style has evolved"

Nope. No change. Do what you want, and blame someone else for the bad that happens.

You libs’ knees move much faster and more often than anyone else.

I never saw a red line in Syria to cross. Who painted it? Why don’t I have a red line? A red line signifies whatever the painter wants and canbe placed anywhere. “Read my lips!”

As I have said before and will say again, our President is both a moral and physical coward.

Why does everyone overlook that the “red line” thing came from Netanyahu, and Obama just used it to please AIPAC!

GB Sarin, as a quickly lethal gas is far “more humanitarian” than napalm, white phosphorus, cluster bombs, or IEDs, which have all proven far more damaging to “civilians” and non-combatants, when used by US and our “allies”.

Mr. Asay is a talented artist. His cartoon says Mr. Obama isn’t bluffing, he’s just lying. That’s sad and I think its wrong.
    ^
There are conflicting reports about the use of gas and even who used it, but Mr. Asay and many conservatives want us to do something. Arm the militants? How do you arm the ‘right’ militants? Shoot targets on the ground? How do you confirm you’re not shooting ‘allies’? The reasons to hold back until more information is known far out weigh the reason to take unilateral action now.
    ^
If it is discovered that Al Qayadah released the gas, will those calling for immediate action apologize, or accuse the President of acting preemptively?
    ^
For a year now, I have been calling for the US to do in Syria what it did in Libya and help enforce a no fly zone just because of the conventional murders performed by the regime. However, the “Red Line” was not “fully” crossed.
    ^
The USA gets ONE chance to make a first strike. The Russians, Chinese, and others are watching and listening so they can learn our techniques, our strategies, and our tactics. They are looking forward to us taking an action that further weakens us militarily and financially. If the US uses its military the way its designed to be used, the Assad regime will be so weakened and cowed that the fools will be begging for the chance to go to another country.
I would prefer we go in as part of an international coalition and that we do it quickly and efficiently then LEAVE.
    ^
Assad has crossed so many red lines, all made from the blood of his people. This line is about WMDs, and sadly, that one has not bee sufficiently crossed. Not enough masses killed at one time. Too bad the world is waiting until “enough” people get killed at one time before they act.
    ^
The final red line is enforced by silent ships deep under the ocean’s surface. No matter what people think of our president, they will not risk waking our ballistic submarines. As long as hackers can’t find our subs, our country is safe from the ‘animals’ in Mr. Asay’s cartoon. The red line holds. Have faith.
    Sadly,
    C.

I ask any one of you “right” thinkers out there who have all the criticism how do you enforce a no fly zone? How do you arm the right rebels? How do you invade Syria and enforce peace and depose of Assad? How many American lives will it take? Hasn’t your thirst for the blood of our armed forces been satisfied with the last two wars? Any answers? Any? Have John McCain, Mitt Romney, Mitch McConnel, John Boehner, Rush, Glen, or any of the Heritage foundation brains come forth with a positive solution? Just asking.

Hey numbnuts! It wasn’t McCain, Romney, McConnel, Rush, Glen or anyone else that said “Don’t cross this line”. It was Obama.
