Not debating since the Elephant — in Bush clothing — racked up two thirds of the bill. Facts, facts, how un-NRAsay.

O has no intention of debating. It’s his way or the highway.

An honorable person pays his bills and keeps his promises. Always. To suggest this is optional confirms you are less than honorable.

FACTS – 90% of the deficit was done by Obama in 4 years not Bush in 8.

Excuse me, but who was in Senate 2006? Who had control of the purse strings from 2006 to 2010? Who had a blank check 2008 to 2010 with all three branches that deal with dept and the budget? Face it Obama owns this economy and dept! But But But Bush no longer flies here.

Come on sister, just keep doing what you have been doing since 2006 and charge it!. No real budget. No real thought expect the other guy is mean and bad and evil and wait, why are you not just charging it on the mean rich guys. You told us that using class warfare and wealth envy was going to pay the bill. Where is their “fair” share?

This is why he wanted this covered in the deal. Now he is going to have to negotiate. I hope the Republicans in the house stand there ground and force him to make dollar for dollar concessions.

He was awfully smug when he thought he could force the Republicans to give him the right to segregate out the high performers for extra taxes.

The Republicans in Congress passed the current budget. Now they wouldn’t pay for what they’ve already agreed to buy. If they didn’t find the budget acceptable, they should have stood their ground when it was being voted on originally.

If they want to make a stand, make it on the next budget. That’s both morally defendable and doesn’t have nearly the severe consequences of a debt ceiling debate. The fundamental problem is they don’t have an alternative that isn’t political poison and while they’re willing to have the country commit economic suicide, they’re not about to risk their re-election.

Would one of you Gimmies please state just what level of debt will finally be the limit? We CANNOT just keep pushing up the debt limit. Just like Greece, we will eventually have to default and Civil War II isn’t what I want for my grandchildren.

The DEMOCRATS haven’t passed a budget the entire time that Obama has been in office. The Republican House has passed a draft for the last two years but the Democrat Senate (lead by that brainchild Harry Reid) won’t even allow it to come up for a vote. It is the Democrats that have failed their Constitutional duty to pass a budget every year, not the Republicans.

Can you tell me how Obama plans to pay for the last 4yrs plus what is to come besides from the pocket books of the rich, middle class and our children? Yes, but it also honorable to manage your budget and not spend outside of your means. It is the current spending that is in question not paying for the items from the past. Apparently the current administration believe the money they are asking for should go for their programs as they have not figured out how they will pay for the new increases. If they would cut spending accross the board, the current deficit would start to become controllable. The government along with the President seem to think if you create a program it will be paid for by raising taxes and the debt ceiling and not cutting costs of over bloated programs. If we don’t stop spending and get the pork out of all of the bills we all will continue to get hit hard. It is unsustainable.
