You can take my guns from by bloody hands, thats the only way you will get them.

Really? From your “by bloody hands”? (Spelling might help bolster your case) Well, law enforcement will take them then because like Lanka you may have murdered (or burdered) a bunch of people by then.

    And Chuck, Chuck, Chuck,

You really should should see a counselor over these hallucinations you’re having. Gun control has been so far off the radar as an electoral issue. It’s not until there is another bi-annual mass killing does the news media even notice all the people dying from all those legally obtained weapons for self defense.

You used to be witty, then you drank some bad, bad Kool-Aid.

Didn’t they find another fast-n-furious weapon at the scene of a shoot out?

To a liberal President guns in the hands of criminals is OK, in the hands of responsible citizens is criminal.

Can anyone explain “Gibson Guitar Raid”? I used to have a Gibson. Should I be afraid?

More “biblical worldview” in action: people arming themselves with assault weapons to attack the government. Jesus must be so proud.

OK, so in Chuck’s biblical view the government doesn’t have the right to search for evidence when it has information that a crime has been committed. (That’s what the “Gibson Guitar Raid” is about, the government believes that Gibson is using essentially black market rare woods illegaly obtained in contrast to the century old Lacey Act)
    .
Just another example of the “law abiding citizens” arguing in favor of those that break the law.
    .
Beyond that this cartoon is offensive in so many ways. First is “Libs…” which Chuck Asay uses as a racist epithet. Liberals aren’t a separate race, but in Asay’s Biblical Worldview, they (we) are. That’s not the Christ I was taught about!
    .
Second is the use of his “Liberal” icon that he usually uses as the “Liberal Teacher” when he’s doing an anti public school panel. This time she isn’t one of the massively heroic women who sacrificed their lives in a futile attempt to save lives! Principal Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung was shot dead as she lunged forward at the man with the automatic weapon! And here is Asay, blithly ignoring the imagery he is concocting.
    .
Third is the underlying lie that the second amendment is designed to protect the citizens against their government.
    .
Fourth is the “Black or White” assumption that the answer is status quo or its opposite. Either everyone gets to have guns or no one gets to have guns. That false choice I guess fits in with a “Biblical Worldview” when you don’t understand the Bible, which most Christians don’t (for the reasons why this is, read Sir Thomas Moore’s Utopia)
    .
Chuck, Guns are tools of satan, they are no different from “The Apple”. Why are you, with your Biblical Worldview" arguing on the side of Satan? Who’s tool are YOU?

No. chucky assay posts things that, on the surface, seem reasonable. However, after a small moment of thought, really aren’t. But, in fact are quite out there, somewhere near Pluto.

And here I thought Jesus always said “Shoot first, my children, for that is the way of the lord.”

The Federals actually need to worry about the people who have the opinion that they need to worry about the Fed, delusional or actual, but they are a select, small percentage.

Gibson Guitar acknowledges exotic wood violation

    http://finance.yahoo.com/news/gibson-guitar-acknowledges-exotic-wood-violation-154434875.html

“Nashville-based Gibson is to pay a $300,000 penalty. The company also agreed to forfeit claims to about $262,000 worth of wood seized by federal agents and contribute $50,000 to promote conservation of protected tree species.”

Perhaps Mr. Asay failed see that nationally distributed piece for the Associate Press.

The Main Reason for having means to protect your family is the Collapse of the Economy and social structure. The results of a collapse? No Food delivery to distribution centers, No Fuel, no police protection. Those who need food and other necessities will go where they are and use whatever force they have to acquire them. Your preparations and that of close friends likewise prepared, may be your only protection……..Far-fetched?…….Look at History, Look what is going on around you here and around the world. ………..This is the short version of the problem and totally in focused.

More, how far do you live from your origin of food (If you said the “corner store”, pass over this). How many people are between you and your food source?…. If you said I have a garden. Who will harvest it?

Hey, Grammar Nazi, it’s “you’re”, not “your”. Get off your high horse. And by the way, you proved his point with your intolerance and name calling. Now that’s ironic!

Boy howdy what a bunch of hooey – uh not chuck but the rest of youse guys…LOL

Dread, yes law enforcement has the right to search for illegal items once probable cause has been established. But seizing legal goods on the off chance they fit the bill is not a good thing. You do remember that the charges were that the company knowingly obtained illegal wood the gov decided that perhaps they were wrong and the company obtained wood in good faith but had not vetted their supplier well enough, right? And boy nothing like some illegal wood harvesting to spark a raid on the company by fully armed government swat teams. Yep. Drug dealers should be so lucky. But the gov kept the wood anyway. Can you prove me wrong or are you just going to declare me stupid like you usually do?

    http://cnsnews.com/news/article/after-two-raids-doj-decides-no-criminal-charges-against-gibson-guitar-company

And Chillbilly, are you nutz? People arm themselves with semi-automatic weapons (automatic weapons already being banned AND the only real “assault” weapons are fully automatic) but NOT to attack the government but to be able to defend themselves from whatever armed assailant comes their way, government employed or not. You hear our hired protection ( local police forces) complain all the time about being “outgunned” by the criminals they are trying to control. Me? I don’t need an AK-47 replica semi-automatic rifle with a bunch of 30 round clips. I do like my M-1 Carbine that my father brought back from WW2 and yes there are 30 round magazines available for it as well. Even though it is semi-automatic now. To have a fully automatic weapon one must pay too many fees and answer too many questions and follow too many regulations so I opt out of that.

And guys, don’t you think that Mr. Irma has a point? Urban violence with guns is an everyday thing but you here nothing about it. Well, other than when people like the mayor of Chi town begs the criminals not to shoot kids anymore.

You want to solve the problem? Address the non compliance with the laws on the books today. Revisit the “rights” of the mentally unstable and their “need” for supervised medication. Do not restrict the rights of those that obey the laws.
