Chuck Asay sifts the events of the day through his biblical worldview and tries to persuade readers to see things his way...that rights are given by a higher authority than the governments of men, that mankind is not the ultimate arbiter of truth and that our Constitutional Republic is worth protecting. Chuck believes ideas, not politicians rule the world. He tries to protect ideas which he thinks are good and attacks ideas he thinks bring harm.

Just like tearing down Bush and installing O. Gridlock is worse, no budget, back to stealing from the rich.

Let’s see … Obama and Hillary Clinton get together with an ayatollah to appoint Morsi dictator of Egypt …
.
OK. Yeah. Of course. Another fine example of news sifted through a “biblical” worldview.

So in your twisted world-view, Obama and Hillary somehow were the architects of the Arab Spring? Yet when it comes to handing out credit for killing bin Ladin, that was the work of the hard working marines who pulled the trigger. Chuch Asay has an incredibly convinient method of filtering the news.

I’ve hit a blank spot. I don’t understand what re-sculpting the Sphinx has to do with “biblical worldview”.

The megarich stole massively from the middle class and the government. It is not “stealing from the rich” it is justice.

@mikefive: the bio on this strip mentions that Mr. Asay filters his opinions through his “biblical world view”. However, this ’toon makes it appear that “Thou shalt not bear false witness” was missing from his copy of the Bible.

Apparently some people don’t know this (From France International News):
AFP – Egypt’s President Mohamed Morsi has become a “new pharaoh” by assuming sweeping powers on Thursday that places him above judicial oversight, opposition figure and Nobel laureate Mohamed, ElBaradei said.
“Morsi today usurped all state powers and appointed himself Egypt’s new pharaoh. A major blow to the revolution that could have dire consequences,” ElBaradei wrote.

Obama and Hillary are cozy with the Muslim Brotherhood.

“Cozy with the Muslim Brotherhood”
.
Barack Obama’s Cairo Speech settled that question.

Did you give El Baradei so much credibility when he refuted the Bush Administration claims on Saddam’s WMD? Somehow, I doubt it. His rhetoric is a little over the top, but he is essentially correct once again. But, we have little say in the internal politics of Egypt.
Trying to tie Obama & Hillary to the Muslim Brotherhood is just pathetic. Obama went as far as saying Egypt isn’t really our ally at this point. Morsi hasn’t forgotten how long it took the U.S. to give up on Mubarek.

@Uncle Joe
Do you not believe Morsi declared sweeping new powers that elevates him above the judiciary?

If a jug of milk goes sour in Turkestan, Asay will say it was Obama’s fault.
