Chuck Asay sifts the events of the day through his biblical worldview and tries to persuade readers to see things his way...that rights are given by a higher authority than the governments of men, that mankind is not the ultimate arbiter of truth and that our Constitutional Republic is worth protecting. Chuck believes ideas, not politicians rule the world. He tries to protect ideas which he thinks are good and attacks ideas he thinks bring harm.

It’s the President’s job to tell us what happened.

If Fox News (and Chuck Asay) weren’t shamelessly obfuscating news all the time, these kinds of scandals might gain some traction beyond Fox News viewers.

“a preditor drone overhead”? really? you get that from FOX? And if there ‘had’ been a drone overhead, what would the target have been? Just fire in the crowd and our magic missles will just kill terrorists? If FOX News keeps the situation simple for you, it doesn’t mean you understand it.

I think your language is a little obfuscated (confused). The politicians obfuscate the information and hopefully news outlets push them for clarity.

If it were so obfuscated, why are they not out there trying to clear up the confussion? Because they know what it would do to Obama’s reputation of being transparent and being honest by telling us he will release the information as it becomes available. Maybe he could ask Fox for the information so he can make it available since he can’t seem to find it.

If CNN et al. would do their job, instead of fawning over their hero, we might actually have more than a few outlets that tell the facts. But go ahead and keep living in your dream world, where CNN, BSNBC, and their ilk are real news organizations.

Well it seems we have arrived at a consensus, there are no news sources that can be trusted to provide truthful information.

does this toon indicate that Fox is on the outside and cannot see past the information the other networks are providing and get their own information, so they just make up their news?

Yep. Fox got the information from US Intelligence and senior military sources. Except there were TWO drones overhead, apparently one was low on fuel.
-
The “target” would have been whoever the Navy Seals “painted” with a laser.
-
“According to sources on the ground during the attack, the special operator on the roof of the CIA annex had visual contact and a laser pointing at the Libyan mortar team that was targeting the CIA annex. The operators were calling in coordinates of where the Libyan forces were firing from.”
-
You know, the President could do his job and come out and tell us what happened and that would clear everything up. Maybe. If he has nothing to hide, why doesn’t he do that?
—
Guess he has to wait out the election so “the truth” doesn’t hurt him.

The other networks are providing information on this?
I went to CNN, nothing on their website.
MSNBC – nothing
ABC – nothing
CBS – nothing

Comments here show the desperation of some conservatives to discredit this administration at any chance, truthful or not. They want the President to release all of the information he knows, but the TEA party has convened a “Grand Jury” charging the president for releasing too much info on the binLaden raid.

Of course not. Because there is NO STORY here beyond Faux’s desperate attempts to discredit Obama and to help Romeny win the election. It’s NOT a news story; it’s simple propaganda.

Since it was a lie that there was a protest going on about some inconsequential movie, and in fact the only people outside the embassy were attacking it, I don’t think finding a target would have been difficult at all.

@DrCanuck
Obama’s incredible cover story of Benghazi murders is propaganda. But, it is not simple.
