This would be really funny if it weren’t so painfully true!

Romney wil be at the La Jolla mansion counting his Cayman millions, and sitting on his hidden tax returns. He’ll be considering how to stick it to the 47%of Americans he says he detests so much.

How does this fit in with a “Biblical World View”? And what would you say about President Eisenhower, who golfed way more often? I wasn’t following this cartoonist when Dubya was president, but I’m very sure that he was hypercritical of the fact that Dubya took more than a year off while in office. I’m sure the ‘toon he printed when Dubya was at John McCain’s birthday party while Katrina was destroying New Orleans was particularly scathing. And I’m sure President Romney will never take any time off. He’ll be working 24 hours a day on every crisis there is.

Mr. Obama hasn’t done anything except campaign for re-election for over a year. He has abdicated his duties as President. He doesn’t meet with his cabinet. He doesn’t meet with world leaders. He doesn’t meet with his jobs council. He wants the title of President, but he refuses to do any of the work associated with it.

What is true is every sitting president campaigns, they have to, so get over it.
What else is true is, according to the CONservative darling website that counts President Obama’s golf outings he has played 104 rounds of golf as of the beginning of August. Of those outings only 22% were during the M-F work week not during typical vacation periods. And then President Obama usually golfs with junior staffers instead of the lobbyists robme golfs with.
Does President Obama not get any time to himself? How many workweek days does your doctor take off for golf? A lot more I can assure you. And then he demands a salary higher than the President.

It is so easy to name campaign stops and speeches that the President does. Every day the press reports which states he’s flying to and where he’s campaigning and asking for donations. It is very difficult to find instances of the President actually working. I suggest that Mr. Obama has spent much more time campaigning than any of his predecessors. I submit that he has done less work than any other president. And what is the President’s job? Should he not be meeting with world leaders to champion American interests? Should he not be sitting down with his cabinet to discuss domestic concerns? Why does he refrain from dialogue with his own czars? Why does he refuse to meet with Congressional leaders on both sides of the aisle? The country is slipping faster and faster into decay because of his failed policies, and he refuses to look for answers. Maybe after the election. Shudder.

    Less work than Reagan?

^Folks forget how proud Reagan was of how short his work day was, and how little he read to keep up with the world. HIs last three years in office of course, he was almost totally “out to lunch”. At least I can excuse him for his Alzheimer’s that was becoming obvious. “W” didn’t have that excuse.

The whole “golf thing” is outdated, and idiotic, especially for Republicans who can’t remember their own folks recreation time. Maybe Asay also has Alzheimer’s?

You say: “What is true is every sitting president campaigns, they have to, so get over it.”
I say: “No, a 2nd term president doesn’t have to campaign. Maybe he can do his job then.”
    [Just jerkin’ ur chain.]

“Out to Lunch” reminds me of a joke a German friend told me. President and Mrs. Reagan were having dinner at a restaurant. The waiter takes Mrs. Reagan’s order of lobster and steak, He asked, “What about the veggie?” Nancy replied, “Oh, He’ll have the same.”

Just what is Obama, or anyone else in the western world supposed to do in the Middle East? Make war?
Oh, and the Repos seem to be so unnerved with a president who can do multiple things at once. Why? Because they can’t rub their belly and pat their heads at the same time?

As someone prominently in the news said weeks back, “War is God’s way of thinning the population.” He wants to be V-P.

You can’t refute my claim so you obfuscate. typical reDUMBlican tactic.
    .
But as to your question, Michael Moore is not a Democratic party operative. He simply is a documentary film maker who happens to be an intelligent, liberal thinking individual. I know it’s hard for you to understand this concept since your party does not tolerate dissension or independent thinking like the Democrats do.
