Hmph! Christian charity is the milk of human kindness- curdled. Charity-great idea, let’s all get back to the “Lady Bountiful” ideal. While we’re at it, let’s give assistance to the ‘deserving poor’—you know, the corporations!

Hmmmm, charity only. Charity works for “limited”, short-term issues and needs. But for the mental health, physical disability and some addicts, consistent treatment is only possible thru professional means. Not all charity cases are the same.

Oh, hush, you know full well there is no truth to your words. What makes you think the non-working members of society are entitled to anything from those of us who do work?

Non-working members of society? Like children, invalids and infirm? Are they not entitled to anything from those of us who do work? Et tu Mr. Scrooge?

Both leftist schemes to keep people in bondage and voting democrat. Get a job and contribute to society. You will feel better about yourself.

No. This is about sane able bodied workers. Could liberals not twist anything into something evil?

yes they do say to help our fellow man but that help should be voluntary if it is forced then it does no good for either person charity isn’t just to help those in need it helps those who give as well, you don’t learn any real lessons when you are forced into and act of charity.

They are in the minority. The large majority of those on wellfare have been on there for 4 or 5 generations. They expect us to support them. You know full well who I am talking about. Besides there is a difference between Charity where it is given at our own choice and entitlements where they demand and expect it.

I’m less worried about Regan’s so called welfare queens than I am about corporate welfare recipients. Oil companies are some of the most profitable companies on earth. Why do they need government handouts?

Can you think of a single liberal program that wasn’t in response to a problem than charity and private enterprise hadn’t already failed to solve?

Actually charity is efficient and offers better long term solutions than the government has. The government seems to lose whenever a direct comparison is made.

Glad to hear that it’s about able bodied workers, it sounded to me like you wanted to end all forms of support. Glad to know you’re standing up for welfare.

Also, liberals, like all humans, have many abilities, that’s what makes us such an amazing species.
