Chuck Asay sifts the events of the day through his biblical worldview and tries to persuade readers to see things his way...that rights are given by a higher authority than the governments of men, that mankind is not the ultimate arbiter of truth and that our Constitutional Republic is worth protecting. Chuck believes ideas, not politicians rule the world. He tries to protect ideas which he thinks are good and attacks ideas he thinks bring harm.

Seriously, really? This old completely disproven meme? Are you letting the family dog pick your themes? Just throwing paper slips down the stairs and picking the one that fell furthest? Really?
You disappoint me Chuck.

Provided that’s one of the Koch brothers, or another “good corporate citizen,” I’m totally fine with this! Let’s have barbecue after!

@Darsan54
Actually, given that that is the attitude of liberals, it is pretty accurate.

Sadly no, it is those of us who work for a living.

YES someone FINALLY gets it and is willing to print the real truth. What the heck, it’s not Obama or the EPAs money.

You are wrong. I am qualified to speak on that subject.

The (non) Native Americans were such a kind and Gentile lot.

What do you mean “finally?” Chuck’s always been a partisan hack.

Who is really picking someone’s pocket? It is the people who don’t pay for the full cost of their fossil fuel use, and force others to bear the cost associated with global warming; such as sea level rise, more extreme weather, higher food prices, disease and death.
Because some people aren’t willing to pay a little now, they will pay a whole lot more later for food, and insurance (because of weather-related disasters).

Makes a lot more sense than the GW garbage…panic-mongering at its worst. It will economically ruin any nation that adheres to such nonsense. Solyndra is just one tiny example of money being flushed down a sewer for nothing.

A load of BS from Chukles as usual. Specifically the first panel. The Aztecs did not use human sacrifice to ‘help the sun grow hotter’ or for any ‘weather’ related reasons. The only theory even related to the sun is that they thought that without the sacrifice of human “tonalli” everything (including the sun) would stop.

Good work, Mr. Asay. Another homerun. The power pigs of the left exposed.

“chuck has his head up his assay.”
Do you have a macro for typing this? It would save you a lot of work, and you could use the extra energy for thinking.

Yesterday and the day before Asay drew cartoons about education, but it’s precisely the best educated people who are warning us about the dangers of global climate change — and not people from the faculty of “Ethics and Relativism”, which he mocks, but the scientists. I fear that Asay is just hopelessly confused. He says he wants education, but he doesn’t know what education is.
