Great idea why don’t we do what got us into this mess in the first place.

If you give someone 8 years to do something and they screw up so bad that it probably take you years to fix it, it’s time to get rid of them and try something different.

Here’s the thing, if we had allowed a “free market” to control the herds of elephant, there wouldn’t be any elephants left.
CITES 20 years ago imposed strict regulations on the ivory market ( a morotorium in fact) which helped save the elephant.
Recently a lifting of the morotorium to allow South African, Zimbabwean, Namibian & Botswanean sell their stocks of ivory (mainly from culled elephants) meant new ivory came onto the market despite many warning the dangers of this. Of course poaching suddenly increased along with it.

    Poachers/Free marketeers, meh…

So, Republicans are the sole supporters of the free market? BS. Patent BS.

Free Market: Now that’s an oxymoron if I’ve ever heard of one.

Um… isn’t the Free Market the market that has 10% unemployment? Isn’t the Free Market the one that shipped all our jobs to China, India, Bangladesh, Mexico… well everywhere?

Let’s see, almost every other type of economy in the world is moving towards a free market enterprise and yet we castigate it . Makes perfect sense to me.
