Chuck Asay sifts the events of the day through his biblical worldview and tries to persuade readers to see things his way...that rights are given by a higher authority than the governments of men, that mankind is not the ultimate arbiter of truth and that our Constitutional Republic is worth protecting. Chuck believes ideas, not politicians rule the world. He tries to protect ideas which he thinks are good and attacks ideas he thinks bring harm.

Yeah, like the Republicans’ hands are clean? They just hand out the government money to “more respectable” types, by looking the other way while TOO BIG TO FAIL, companies & banks, just undermine us one at a time & then call it “the market cycle.”

The only difference I can see between the two are simple. The R were on a slow mining car while trying to support the people and private companies of the USA. The ones with a D beside there name are on the express mining cart mining “gold” from the private sector. They then turn it around and try to give it “to the people” in the form of pay off for either votes or favors.

The Dems are using our children’s future taxes to prop up the tunnels. I wonder how long they can do that before it collapse on them?

Republicans were invited numerous times. They earned their name, The party of “No” by refusing to participate or being able to agree to anything. The Republicans are acting like a bunch of childish children.
I don’t feel on bit sorry for them if they are shut out. They earned it.
And, as always, right wing nutiness attributing junk to others they did not do, and are not doing. The Democrats are making an attempt to level the playing field in favor of their constituents, wow, what a surprise.

Has anyone seen the Republicans latest proposal on how end the recession, and stimulate the economy?

And somewhere underneath it all there’s still a pipeline heading straight to Halliburton.

Who cares if they are banging hookers! As long as they are doing their job, I dont care. Soliciting sex is common across both Republican and Democratic lines, heck, it is the oldest profession in the world, and just because they may be sexual, does not mean they are not rational. Stop trying to attack ad hominum, it says nothing about their ability to lead.
