Chuck Asay sifts the events of the day through his biblical worldview and tries to persuade readers to see things his way...that rights are given by a higher authority than the governments of men, that mankind is not the ultimate arbiter of truth and that our Constitutional Republic is worth protecting. Chuck believes ideas, not politicians rule the world. He tries to protect ideas which he thinks are good and attacks ideas he thinks bring harm.

Osama is good at manipulating Demoncrat voters, though. Anything he calls a “crisis”, they immediately join in alongside him, echoing his every word, as well as blaming Bush and Cheney for it.

Oh, that’s just mean and spiteful, ANandy.

How would things be different if they would have ignored Paul Revere when warning about the red coats…

I wonder if peace-of-mind deprivation could be considered a form of torture? Sure seems like it.

All the people that died of the flu, and died for the profit of the insurance companies, are sorry they bothered you. The Party of No wants you to stop informing them about the problems faced by real people today. Sorry to bother you, neocons, you just go ahead and shut your window and go back to sleep, we will just go ahead and take care of society without you.

ANasty You sir are going beyond the bounds of bad taste and stupidity in to the realm of being an uncivilized @ss.

Of course after 8 years of fear-mongering and “The somebody is coming, the somebody is coming!” that led us into two idiotic wars, and a financial disaster, and remember LAST YEARS flu scare to get everyone to by Rumsfeld’s “Tamiflu”, that doesn’t work, I’m a lot more concerned about the fact glaciers are disappearing faster than our investments under Reaganomic thieves.

ANandy You’ve validated my first post. As a loser in life it must really twist your shorts that others made something of theirs and enjoy it.
PS Oldie, ANandy shows his lack of awareness, if his shot is at me then he’s missed by about 95%. I think though he’s insulted about several thousand servicemen who “did” instead of mouth off about the 2nd.

On the other side of the house, there’s a stripy yelling “the perverts are coming”, an elephant yelling “The mexicans are coming”, “The arabs are coming”. In fact, he has been yelling it for the last eight years, right after half a decade (and counting, for some) “The reds are coming”.
Infotainment is fueled by fear. Remember the killer bees and Y2K? One day, there will be really something to cry wolf about and nobody will listen.

^ If “Touch a nerve” means being amused at an individual who is smug with their own stupidity, then yes. Male, female bigots comes in all makes, kinds and sizes - choose your own poison, “don’t make me no never mind” as a threeyear old neighbor used to say.

CF, I was joking about Y2K not too long ago with an IBMer, and he said if they had not done all the work they did in preparation for it, it would have been a disaster. The fact that it was a big nothing was because they worked their tails off to make it that way.
Now, whether that’s true or not, I can’t say – not my area. But that’s what I heard from a highly place tech guy.

Scissorhands…Y2K was a joke. I hate to admit, but I was READY! I am not that quick to believe the reason we averted disaster was because someone knows someone that works for IBM and they stated that they kept our country from disaster. IBM is a big evil corporation you know. I know Bush was truly to blame for that hoax!
CF…Killer Bees = RATINGS! I agree with your assessment about crying wolf.

Hump I knew ANasty’s target but I didn’t think he knew very much about it, never mind my assessment stands. The creature of what ever gender or lack there of is an @ss.
