   I had NO IDEA you were so gullible, Mr. Asay. Here are a few ACORN facts. 1. Claiming that ACORN is involved with voter fraud is a fabricated scandal is an illegal political stunt…in fact, the SAME illegal political that got Roberto Gonzalez fired as Attorney General. He got fired because HE fired prosecutors who refused to lie and make false charges of voter fraud. These are the SAME FALSE CHARGES!!! 2. ACORN, just like any third party voter drive company is required BY LAW to submit ALL applications. ACORN not only tags the ones their Quality Control thinks are false, they fire the employees that submit them. What else do you want? 3. You know what REAL voter fraud is…when you trick people into changing their party so they get the wrong ballot for the primaries and when you send out false claims to highly Democratic areas that state that anyone with an unpaid parking ticket that shows up at the polls will be arrested or that if you don’t have a house because it has been foreclosed you can’t vote. That is voter fraud. 4. It is clear that since John McCain finally realized that he can not win the election because a majority of citizens want him to be President, he is willing to illegally steal the election.

   One reason that the bogus registrations are being spotted so quickly is that ACORN - which is required by law to hand them in, once they’ve been signed and filled in - is alerting the election officials to probable fraudulent cards, many of which seem to be filled out by anti-Obama types either as jokes or to provide content for swiftboating Obama, since none of the earlier attempts have succeeded.

   Voter fraud can only occur at the polling booth - or after the fact if voting records are tampered with.

   This is partisan muckraking. Distraction from the honest issues of this campaign.

   I have a friend who was all worked up over this ACORN stuff, and I asked him what part the registrar’s office plays in the scam.

   Blank look. I said, you know, the people responsible for making up the actual voter rolls used at the polling places.

   He had no answer. That’s exactly what the perpetrators of this hysteria are counting on - ignorance over how the process works. They want to make it sound like ACORN will be directly plopping down all these phony names at the polling places on 11/04.

   And to some extent, it’s working.

    A harmless, cute cartoon. Funny, but not offensive. Am convinced that the Acorn V-fraud is a fact. You all can deny it till blu in the face. Go ahead and vent your anger at the polls.
    BTW what are you liberals reading a conservative cartoon? You need to read Ben Sargent cartoons. He will crack you up.
