The problem is that Chuck always have to put his Republican twist in every ‘toon…

In the first one, the people is happy, occupied and busy (they MUST be living in Switzerland, I guess…)

In the second one, with Mr. Obama as president, all the people is unhappy and unemployed…

I wonder under what rock Chuck has been living the last disastorus years…

Of course you don’t you didn’t even read the entire comic to understand what taxing the “rich” means.

You guys don’t understand that if you tax the people that provide the jobs for you then they will start getting of any extra costs to make up for the losses you taxed them for. IE: YOU!!!

Companies don’t exist to give people jobs they exist to make money.

So you’re basically saying you would be ok with high unemployment rates because of Obama’s policies?

I think the point he was trying for is that raising the taxes of companies that can ship jobs overseas will ship more jobs overseas. But: A) The R’s are going to do that anyhow as fast as they possibly can. and B) They’re talking about tax incentive for keeping jobs here to try and counter the potential effect.
